The only thing that filtered into y/n's delirious mind was pain. It was unbearable from throb of her head to the piercing ache of her ankle. And it took awhile for her to notice that the pathetic whimpers that played in her ears over and over like a broken record were hers. But then there was something new. Overlapping voices, and this soft, comforting, yet also sinister hum.

She cracked her eyelids open, a low groan leaving her chapped lips as her eyes tried to focus on her surroundings. Y/n was in a car, that much she could tell. Two stout men were seated in the front, one driving and the other looking out the window.  A chill runs through her once she realizes the one in the shotgun seat was Toji.

"See, the theory is that she has some sort of immortality. I plan to test that." His voice is low, cruel as he spoke. "To see how far she can go before she breaks."

Tojis words have her feeling sick to her stomach. He was disgusting, deplorable, an absolute monster- wasn't he already satisfied? He had taken her friends, her lover, and now he was after her life, too? But a part of her was so far gone. Mind so fogged by the pain that she just wished he'd kill her already.

When Toji suddenly turned, Y/n stiffened, breath catching in her throat. She squeezes her eyes shut, but she cant help the telltale tremble of her body. Toji snickered, and Y/n flinched when she felt the rough palm of his hand brush across her cheek.

He suddenly pulled her forward and she cried out- both in pain and surprise. Her ankle bumped across the chair and she writhed in Toji's hold, tears involuntarily trickling down her face.

"You cant fool me, L/n," Toji's voice was a hoarse drawl, and he forced Y/n to meet his uninterested eyes. "You've been awake for awhile now, havent you?"

The girl couldn't respond, merely trembling in his hold. Her heart felt as if it was going to burst. Y/n hated that she was scared. She wanted to fight. She wanted to make him suffer for taking Riko and Geto- for killing Gojo. But all her body wanted to do was follow for fear of what other pain he was going to inflict on her.

"We're here," The man infront suddenly spoke up, and Toji let her go. Y/n fell limp against the car, biting down the cry that threatened to filter in through her lips. And as much as she wanted to steel herself, as much as she wanted to escape, Y/n could feel her consciousness fading.

Toji left her in the car, walking out with a low whistle. The burly man stretched, eyes trained on the blue sky. He almost laughs at how uncanny it was; just moments prior The Honoured one murdered under the very same sun. The gravel crunched beneath his feet as Toji walked, and when he looks back ahead, eyes unfocused, he sees something. Or rather, someone.

There, drenched in his own blood, stood none other than Satoru Gojo. The boy looks up slowly, voice hoarse, but still it carries across the palpable distance between them.

"Hi," He rasped, the winds blowing at the silver strands of his hair. Gojo's pupils are blown, an almost deranged smile stretching on his face. "Long time no see."

"Seriously-?"

"Absolutely."

Toji's eyes flicker the boy's forehead, grimacing at the healed scar. He should've just cut his damn head off. He shouldve been careful. But the sorcerer killer had always been cocky; even when faced with the strongest.

"Fit as a fiddle," Gojo pointed at himself, upbeat tone almost unnerving.

"Reverse Curse Technique."

"Correct. The moment you pierced my throat, i gave up on fighting back and focused on activating the Reverse Curse Technique," The turquoise of his eyes seem to sparkle all the more briliantly against the shadow that dawned on his face. "Cursed energy is negative energy. It can strengthen the body, not regenerate. Therefore you can multiply two types of negative energy to create a positive one. Thats the Reverse Curse Technique."
