I Feel You Linger In The Air

Thai Drama, 2023, 12 episodes, 10

This is a masterpiece. Perfection in every respect - writing, directing, editing, cinematography, and acting. I'm always sceptical about time travel plots, but this one is so brilliantly done that watching it is pure pleasure. Although the episodes of the uncut version are well over an hour each, they often seemed too short. Some of the NC scenes are also iconic - especially what Jom does with olive oil.

If it's with you (Kimi to Nara Koi wo Shite Mite mo)

Japanese Drama, 2023, 5 episodes, 10

Very short, but very cute. Another proof that a beautiful love story can be told, and two persons characterized and developed in 5 short episodes if a series does without artificial drama and unnecessary side couples. One of the many 2023 Japanese high quality series.

Laws of Attraction

Thai drama - 2023, 8 episodes, 10

Another masterpiece with Film and Jam, and this time it's Lakorn and BL at the same time. The second couple, See and Pearl, were great, too.

My Personal Weatherman (Talkan Yoho)

Japanese drama - 2023, 8 episodes, 10

I wouldn't call this a BL series, but rather a gay drama that revolves around an unusual form of love, a mutual obsession which none of the protagonists, Yoh (Mashiko Atsuki), a manga artist, and Segasaki (Higuchi Kouhei), the weatherman, fully understands and is able to accept at first.

Love Class Season 2

Korean drama - 2023, 10 episodes, 10

This has been a big surprise. I found it a bit confusing at first, but it's become one of my favourite KBLs, although I'm not even sure if I should call it BL, because it does without most of the annoying BL tropes. Thanks to an intelligent script, the developments of the three couples feel natural and realistic, the acting is fine, the chemistry good, and the final episodes were very beautiful, with exactly the right amount of comedy.

Love in Translation

Thai drama - 2023, 8 episodes, 10

I'm giving this  a rating of a full 10, not because of the script that has some weaknesses, but for the acting of the complete cast, and the amazing chemistry of the lead couple Offroad and Da Ou. Offroad's smile alone is good for an extra point.
