"Aishah, welcome to our home," Qadrul said, opening the car door for Aishah.

Aishah was amazed as she looked at the house. It was truly luxurious and magnificent.

Qadrul chuckled at his wife's awe-struck expression. "Close your mouth, mi angel. You might catch flies," he teased.

"I wasn't gaping! And my name is Aishah not angel" Aishah retorted, pouting and giving Qadrul a glare.

"I was just kidding. I can't wait to bring you to our actual home," Qadrul said with a smile.

Aishah asked, "Don't you live here?"

"No, my house is in Negeri Sembilan, this is my Ummi's house," Qadrul replied.

"Then I have to follow you there?" Aishah asked, worried about her job and commitments in their current city. "You promised that I could pursue my dreams even after marriage. Are you going back on our promise?"

"Calm down, Aishah. I understand you. We won't move there if you don't want to. Besides, I am mostly not at home due to work, so it's better for you to stay here with my Ummi. I don't want you to be alone in the house," Qadrul patiently reassured her.

"Oh, newlyweds, don't just stand outside. Come in!" Mrs. Aufiya, Qadrul's mother, called from the door.

"Sorry, Ummi. My beautiful angel here wanted to have a chat outside," Qadrul said playfully while kissing his mother's hand. He couldn't help but wince a little when Aishah pinched him hard behind his back.

"Enough teasing my beloved daughter-in-law. Aishah, go upstairs with Qadrul. Freshen up, and then we'll have dinner together," Mrs. Aufiya said warmly.

Time skips to after dinner.

As Aishah entered her room, a surprised gasp escaped her lips when she saw Qadrul coming out of the bathroom, clad in only pajama's pants, his chiseled chest exposed. Her heart fluttered, and she felt her cheeks flush as she quickly turned away.

But before she could stumble, Qadrul's strong arms enveloped her, pulling her close to him. The warmth of his embrace made her heartbeat quicken even more.

"Like what you see, Mi angel?" Qadrul teased, his voice low and playful, his breath tickling her ear.

Aishah's face turned even redder, and she tried to hide her embarrassment by gently pushing herself out of his arms.

Unfazed, Qadrul couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle. "Don't be shy, Siti Aishah. We are husband and wife now. Everything here is yours and plus it's halal."

In response, Qadrul found himself face-to-face with a fluffy pillow. Qadrul just chuckled seeing the feisty act by his wife.

"Crazy man,"Aishah mumbled.

Aishah then began arranging the blankets and pillows on the floor.

"Aishah, why are you putting everything down there?" Qadrul asked.

"I want to sleep down here," Aishah replied coldly.

"Aishah, please don't be like this. We are husband and wife. Come, let's sleep on the bed together," Qadrul pleaded.

Aishah completely ignored Qadrul's pleas and lay down on the floor.

To her surprise, Qadrul lifted her up. Aishah struggled, but Qadrul was stronger.

He gently placed her on the bed. Aishah retaliated by hitting Qadrul's arm with force.

"What are you doing, Qadrul! Don't you dare try anything. Don't you remember your promise!" Aishah warned.

"Don't worry, I won't break any promise, Aishah. I just don't want you to get a backache from sleeping on the floor," Qadrul said.

After giving Qadrul a fierce glare, Aishah arranged the pillows in the middle of the bed.

"You see this, Qadrul? This is your boundary. If you cross this line, I'll beat you up. Understand?!" Aishah said firmly.

"Yes, ma'am. I'll obey your orders," Qadrul replied, playfully saluting Aishah.

That night, Qadrul couldn't sleep. He sat beside his wife, watching her peaceful sleep.

"Oh, Allah, please grant me the strength to uphold the precious trust You have bestowed upon me. Soften her hearts to accept me. Guide me to be a good imam for my wife, Siti Aishah," Qadrul silently prayed in his heart.
