Amid their meal, Mrs Aufiya spoke up. "You know, I was thinking... Why don't you two take a trip together? A honeymoon of sorts."

Aishah's fork paused midway to her mouth, her eyes widening. "Ummi, that's really not necessary. Qadrul and I are fine without a honeymoon. Plus, Qadrul must have work to do."

Mrs Aufiya, seemingly unfazed by Aishah's protest, turned her attention to him. "Qadrul, you do have some time off in the next few weeks, right?"

Perplexed, Qadrul nodded slowly. "Yes, Ummi, I do. But... how did you even know that?"

With an enigmatic smile, she waved a hand dismissively. "Oh, I have my sources, dear. And are you okay with this, Aishah?"

Aishah's gaze shifted between Qadrul and his mother. "Well, if Qadrul is okay with it, I don't have any problem with it. My boss is surprisingly supportive of me taking some time off, and my research is almost completed.

Qadrul's mother beamed with delight, her enthusiasm bubbling over. "Fantastic! It's settled then. You both should start packing your bags. Your flight is scheduled for tomorrow evening. You guys don't have to worry about anything, Ummi has booked everything for you."

And so it was that Aishah and Qadrul found themselves in Australia, surrounded by unfamiliar scenery. As they took in their surroundings, their eyes met, and a shared chuckle escaped their lips. It was a peculiar yet amusing situation.

"Is Ummi always this spontaneous?" Aishah inquired.

Qadrul grinned in response. "Oh, yes. You won't believe the surprises she's pulled off. After I finished my SPM, she suddenly decided she'd had enough of me and promptly shipped me off to a military school in the UK."

Their laughter echoed in the air,Qadrul heart skip a beat seeing Aishah laugh, it's his first time seeing her looks so carefree infront of him. Aishah caught him staring and a blush starts to creep in her cheek. Just then, a car pulled up in front of them, momentarily breaking their moments. The driver addressed them respectfully, "Sir, are you Mr. Qadrul and Mrs. Aishah? I've been assigned to take care of you both during this trip."

Nodding in confirmation, Aishah and Qadrul exchanged glances before following the driver to the awaiting car. The vehicle smoothly navigated through the bustling streets, leading them to a magnificent hotel.

As they entered the opulent hotel lobby, they were greeted with smiles from the staff. A receptionist approached them, confirming their identities and handing them a key card. "Welcome, Mr. Qadrul and Mrs. Aishah. We hope you enjoy your stay with us."

Soon, they found themselves standing in a lavish suite room, decorated with red rose and a breathtaking view of the city. Aishah's eyes widened, and she glanced at Qadrul in astonishment. He simply chuckled, as if accustomed to his mother's extravagant gestures.

"This is... incredible," Aishah breathed, her voice filled with wonder.

Qadrul leaned against a nearby window, his gaze fixed on Aishah. "I told you, Ummi has her own way of doing things."

Aishah's cheeks flushed slightly as Qadrul looked at her with affection in his eyes. "What... What are you looking at me like that for?" she stammered, her heart racing at his gaze.

Qadrul chuckled softly. "Nothing, just admiring my wife. Besides, it's a blessing to gaze upon your spouse with love."

"Sappy," Aishah retorted as she started to walk away from him.

"Where are you going, Aishah?" Qadrul asked, intrigued.

"Shower!" Aishah announced, her voice echoing across the room. Qadrul began to follow her.

"Nope! Don't get any ideas, Qadrul. You stay there if you want to come back home in one piece," Aishah warned with a killer glare.

Qadrul held up his hands in surrender. "Okay, okay. Don't get me wrong. I just wanted to call customer service and order some food for us," he explained, a hint of amusement in his voice.

Aishah roll her eyes and disappeared into the bathroom, leaving Qadrul to his task.

Turns out, they didn't need to call customer service, as the man from earlier knocked on their door, announcing that he was there to escort them to their dinner destination. To their surprise, Ummi had reserved an entire restaurant just for them, with a candlelit setting, live violin music, and attentive staff treating them like true VIPs. Both Qadrul and Aishah were stunned, feeling somewhat awkward under the spotlight of such extravagant attention.

Qadrul glanced at Aishah with a glint in his eyes. "So, what do you think of this surprise?"

"Honestly, I didn't expect any of this. I used to think romantic gestures like these only happened in movies. Ummi is full of surprises, isn't she?"

Qadrul nodded, his gaze never leaving hers."Yeah, she's one of a kind."

The next day found them in a hot air balloon, and Aishah was still not over the surprise from the previous night. "I can't believe we're actually going on a hot air balloon ride."

Qadrul grinned. "Buckle up, Aishah. It's going to be one heck of an adventure, especially knowing Ummi is the planner."

As they soared into the sky, the world below them began to shrink, and the wind whispered around them. Aishah held onto the side of the basket, awe and exhilaration painting her face. "Woah, this view is breathtaking."

Qadrul leaned in close, his eyes never leaving Aishah's face. "Yeah, it is very breathtaking."

Aishah realized how close Qadrul was standing and she smile mockingly "Smooth talker, huh? Don't even try anything funny, Qadrul, if you don't want to know how it feels to free-fall from a thousand feet above the ground."

Qadrul chuckled at his wife's antics. "Okay, okay. I'm surrounded, Ma'am."

Sitting at a cozy café later on, Qadrul leaned in closer to Aishah, his voice a soft whisper amidst the ambient noise. "Do you want to do something fun, Aishah?"

Aishah arched an eyebrow in curiosity. "What do you have in mind?"

A playful smirk touched Qadrul's lips. "Something classic, like a game of police and criminals. But here's the twist – we're both the criminals."

Amused and intrigued, Aishah nodded. "Alright, I'm in. But how do we play?"

Qadrul's plan unfolded seamlessly, and soon they found themselves embarking on an impromptu adventure, weaving through the streets with laughter and mischief. Aishah's heart raced with excitement as they ducked behind corners and playfully evaded their 'pursuers.'

Aishah caught her breath and looked at Qadrul. "Can we take a break now? I'm getting a bit tired."

Qadrul huffed, his breaths heavy from their escapade. "Yeah, I think we can call it quits. I don't think anyone's following us anymore."

Aishah's eyes widened in surprise. "Wait, someone was actually following us? And you didn't think it was important to mention?"

Qadrul chuckled, a mischievous glint in his eyes. "Relax, Aishah. I'm pretty sure it was just a 'spy' Ummi planted to observe us. I overheard her talking on the phone about it back at the restaurant."

Aishah's eyes widened in astonishment, and she couldn't help but react. "What?!"

Qadrul burst into laughter at Aishah's shocked expression.
