U were getting ready for work early in the morning, one of ur colleagues is sick and u had to come in their place in doing the early shift.

You got up from ur seat after drinking ur (f/d) and went to ur room. U gathered all ur things and was ready to leave when u were then tackled from behind.

U instantly knew who it was.

"Good morning to u too V." U said
"Where r u going?" V asked snaking her arms around ur waist and laying her bead on ur shoulder.
"Work! I had to replace my normal shift with the morning one. I'll be back atleast by 5:30."
U replied earning a groan from her,

Ah, so she's feeling clingy today, I''m assuming.

"Seriously? Ur gonna be gone for nearly 5 hours? Just call in sick or something, i dont care about that stupid shift." She complained wrapping ur arms around u tighter so u wouldnt move.

"V, you know i cant do that—"

"Then make up a different excuse!"

U shook ur head and chuckled, well a break does sound nice soo.. i suppose.

U sigh, giving up, "Fine, but if I'm losing this job I'll be the one lecturing u." U warned and felt her slightly smile against ur shoulder.

"It'll be worth it. I just want to spend time with u." She admitted turning u around so she can properly hug u instead of hugging ur back.

"So, you like my attention, don't u?" I said playing with her hair.

"So what if i do... you've been so caught up in work."

"And why'd u want to spend time with me instead of anyone else?" U said smirking waiting for a specific answer.

"Because I like u? I thought that was clear enough."

U laugh lightly while bring her to the little couch u had in ur room so u two wouldn't have to stand there killing ur legs.

"Well, i like u too." U said, V's eyes fluttered close feeling comfortable.

U sighed, feeling all the stress from ur shoulders collapse now that ur in the arms of ur lover. U were definite she wouldn't be leaving ur side now after this. Oh god.

U heard ur phone from ur pocket ping, not minding it u take it out and put it on silent mode. U felt V smile at ur action against ur head, since she was after all resting her head there.

U ended up not getting up, instead u decided to stay in V's arms, who was now sleeping - with u playing with ur hair,the warmth of ur body those to factors made V - including u, start to doze off.

She's right it was worth it.

U two cuddled for the rest off the day, not wanting to move (dont worry u two ate, somehow...) until the next morning for u to get ready for ur early shift, leaving her a kiss on the forehead, first - Of course.
