Yujin could barely keep his eyes open, exhaustion taking over his whole body. It was the nth time of the day that they were going through the choreography for In Bloom, no breaks in between. Yujin had barely slept last night as he had practiced until late at night and came home at the early morning hours. It was now around four pm, and they had been dancing since two, so naturally, Yujin was exhausted.

Gunwook on the other hand, was used to using his body to the limit. Gunwook had a big and strong figure and he knew how to take advantage of it. He was great at storing energy. Back in Wild Idol he had been doing lots of physical activities at such a young age, which had gained him some experience.

Yujin envied the way the older was able to still stand strong even after going through a rough choreo countless times. Gunwook was the only one still smiling, even Hanbin was exhausted.

“Alright, let’s go through it once more, and then we’ll do smaller groups and I’ll monitor,” the dance instructor said, and groans could be heard from around the room. Yujin used up all his energy that was left on the last group dance, getting through it with no problem the great dancer he is. But then came the unit monitoring.

The youngest three were the last group to be monitored, so they had had a bit of a break before needing to step up again. Yujin had sat down for most of it, leaning his back against the mirror, eyes closed. Soon the trio was already called to get up and get to the front. Yujin took his place at the very right, Gunwook in the middle and Gyuvin on the left. The music started, and Yujin immediately began moving his body from muscle memory.

He stumbled during his jump in the pre-chorus. Then he almost slipped on the second chorus. And he was off beat at the outro. He knew it was the exhaustion getting to him, but he didn’t want to admit it. Hanbin was eyeing him with worry from across the room, but Yujin only gave him a reassuring smile in return.

Gunwook and Gyuvin, who had danced with him, were both also out of breath. Yujin had not had time to watch how the two of them did, but he assumed better than himself. The instructor nodded his head while eyeing his papers. He looked up and locked eyes with Yujin for a second, and Yujin could sense the dissapointment from just his gaze. Suddenly, he didn’t want to hear the feedback anymore.

“Well, first of all, I could tell you guys are tired, I’ll take that to account,” He said, eyes switching between all three of them. “Gyuvin,” he started, stopping at the said boy. “You did alright, just check the angles,” he smiled at Gyuvin, who bowed at him in exchange. “Gunwook, you were amazing. Your body control is great and you really know how to move. I know you were exhausted, but you masked it very well. Good job!”

Gunwook cracked a smile “Thank you so much!” He bowed down, while the instructor moved to Yujin, gaze getting noticably more serious. “Yujin, I know you were exhausted, but you are a top dancer. You made a lot of mistakes today, make sure this doesn't happen again alright?” To Yujin’s ears he sounded dissapointed, but he wasn’t really sure if it was just his mind playing tricks on him.
