Hao woke up to the weight of another man on his chest. His boyfriend, Hanbin, was sound asleep, head on Hao's chest and an arm around his waist. Hao's own hand found its way to Hanbin's hair, circling it around his fingers.

There was gentle white light coming inside through the window, which made the white wall with polaroids stuck to it seem shiny. It made Hao squint his eyes as he looked around the room, stopping at the clock on the nightstand. Friday, 27th of October, 8:49 am. Hao yawned before turning back to his boyfriend, who was now snuggling his head to Hao's neck in a search of warmth.

Hao smiled at the cuteness and gently raised Hanbin's head by placing a hand on his cheek. "Wake up, baby. It's almost nine," Hao spoke, a morning raspiness visible in his voice. He did his everything to not coo at the way Hanbin just groaned and stuck his head deeper between hao's neck and the pillow.

Hao let out a breathy laugh, cautious not to do it in Hanbin's direction, since his morning breath surely doesn't smell nice. "Hmm, I'll let you sleep a bit more, just let me go to the bathroom, alright?" Hao spoke, voice soft and loving. Hanbin grumbled about not wanting to let go of him since he was warm, but Hao successfully escaped from Hanbin's grasp.

Hao stood up and watched as a cute pout formed to Hanbin's lips at the loss of contact. So cute, he thought, before taking a few steps toward the bathroom, not taking his eyes off his boyfriend. He found him absolutely adorable, lying there with his morning head, surrounded by soft pillows and blankets. He looked so cozy, so much like home.

Hao smiled before he let his eyes fall to the window at the wall behind their bed. His eyes and smile both widened as he saw the weather outside: there was light snow beautifully falling down, decorating the tree behind the window with a beautiful white. It was the first snow of the year, the first snow since he got together with Hanbin.

Hao gasped at the view, which made Hanbin turn to him and slowly open his eyes. Hao was stuck in his place, staring outside with his mouth left open. Hanbin rubbed his eyes with his hands before properly looking at Hao, and then at the window. He couldn't see outside, so he asked Hao with his morning voice. "What is it?"

Hao didn't turn back to look at Hanbin, he just blinked a few times before answering him, simply. "It's snowing,"

"Oh." Hanbin got up from the bed, walked up to Hao, and looked outside. It was snowing indeed. Winter was coming, their favorite season. The season they had yet to spend together. Hanbin placed his hands around Hao's waist from behind and leaned his head against his shoulder. It was the first snow the two of them were looking at together, as a couple, as lovers.

Hao leaned to the touch, letting his own head fall atop Hanbin's. Big smiles were on both of their faces as they watched the snow falling outside with the cloud covered sunlight making everything bright. The only sound that could be heard in their room was their breathing. It was comforting. Hao wanted to stay in that moment forever.

Before letting his will win, he raised his head and turned around in Hanbin's hold, facing him. He could feel Hanbin's breath on his skin, and he was sure Hanbin could feel his. Hanbin looked straight into Hao's eyes, a mutual understanding blooming between them. Hanbin smiled, his dimples under his eyes becoming visible. The dimples that Hao adored.

Having not brushed his teeth yet, Hao resisted the temptation to kiss them right then and there. He settled for just connecting their foreheads, placing his hands on both of Hanbin's cheeks. Hanbin looked back at him, smiling even wider, if it was even possible.

"Let's go brush our teeth so I can kiss you," Hao said, and immediately took Hanbin's arms off him, grabbing one and leading them both to the bathroom.

Soon Hanbin was sitting on the bed with a warm white sweater on with some brown pants. Hao was still in the shower, and Hanbin had the perfect idea to take him out for breakfast. He knew how much Hao loved winter, and the first snow. So he chose to bring him to a café, for a date.

Hanbin was picking out a cozy sweater for Hao to wear, when he walked inside the room, drying his hair with a towel. Hanbin smiled at the surprised expression on Hao's face and threw a yellow sweater at him. "Get ready, we're going out!"

It was about 9:30 when the couple was finally outside their house, walking down the street hand in hand. There were small snowflakes falling onto their hair, leaving little wet spots as they melted. Hao was whining about it ruining the styling he carefully did right before leaving, and Hanbin couldn't help but laugh out loud at his boyfriend’s adorableness.

There wasn't enough snow yet to cover the walkways as it melted almost straight away at the ground. But looking around, Hao and Hanbin found it beautiful how a thin layer of snow covered the trees around the street.

The sunlight was peeking through the clouds in scattered spots, hitting Hao's face at a perfect angle. It made him glow. Hanbin stopped right there in his tracks, mesmerized by how beautiful his boyfriend looked. Hao noticed the stop and turned to Hanbin, with a questioning but friendly look. Hanbin then moved closer and closer, never moving his gaze from Hao's eyes.

Hao understood the implications and sealed the gap between them, placing a warm kiss onto Hanbin's lips. It didn't last long, but it was perfectly enough for them. They both smiled before returning to walking, and Hanbin couldn't help but wonder when he could call this man his husband.
