One kid never had a timer, he had been taking to the doctors and to labs excessively as a kid and nothing, his parents always worried that he would never be with someone, he didn't care though, he had never liked someone and never done anything with anyone, when he's like 25 he's at work and he's talking to a co worker and notices they don't have one either, "you get yours removed?" He says mid conversations, the other guy, confused looks down at his wrist, where the timer should be.
"Never had one" he sighed, "I had a girlfriend in high school, and she wanted to get serious but it didn't interest me" he shrugged and walked off
He's asexual, and after a while of denial, he now doesn't care that he doesn't have a timer, but everyone around him does, and he starts meeting more people like it...
He's not alone.
