Changing Fate

The first thing Luca noticed when he made it to the edge of the woods was that the campers running around. A camper notices him standing there and yells something and he sees Annabeth suddenly coming running towards him. His eyes go wide as she stops in front of him. He flinches as she goes to touch him and she stops, eyes full of concern, "Are you alright Luca? We were worried!" Luca nods, "I'm sorry. I just needed to think." 

Annabeth notices the dagger he's holding and her brows furrow, "Where did you get that?" She points to it. He looks down at the dagger and holds it up to the light. The black blade seems to flash in the light, "It's a gift from my dad. He appeared to me in the woods." Luca puts the blade back into its sheath and clips it to his belt loops. Annabeth's brows furrow more, "Hades gave you that?" He nods, "He was given permission I guess." Luca shrugs at her. 

"I see." she clears her throat, "Well lunch is over and I'll be leaving. I wanted to ask if you would like to go." Luca shakes his head, "I shouldn't. It is not my time yet." Annabeth nods, "I'll see you when we get back then." Luca smiles, "Yeah. And Annabeth? Try to aim for the lake, ok? It's a bit of a softer landing." Annabeth looks confused but nods, "I'll see you later." She walks off. Luca sighs before going to the nearest camper and asks them to show him to the Hades cabin. 

The camper shows him to the Hades cabin and runs off. Luca sighs but walks into the cabin. The inside looks no different then he'd imagined. Dark walls and floor with black and grey furniture. There are several bunks around the cabin but only one looks to be occupied. "That one is probably Nico's," he mumbles, looking at the bunk with messy sheets. His eyes wander over the bunks before he decides to take one in the back corner of the cabin. Luca lays down and decides to take a nap while he waits for Annabeth and the others to arrive. 

Luca wakes to the sound of knocking on the cabin door. He grumbles but gets up to open it. He opens the door rubbing his eyes. Annabeth stood there with a brown-haired girl. "Were you sleeping?" she asks. Luca nods, yawning, "I was waiting for you to get back. You must be Piper." He turns to the brown-haired girl. Her eyes widened a little bit, "How did you know?" He sighs, "I know a lot of things." He turns back to Annabeth.

"Is Jason with Chiron right now?" Annabeth nods, "He is." Luca seems to think for a moment before saying, "Be careful of Lady Hera's cabin. It's going to be a scare." He walks onto the porch of the cabin and closes his cabin door. "I'll be seeing you very soon." he states before walking off. He makes his way to the big house and knocks. A few seconds later Chiron opens the door, "Ah, young Luca. Did you need something?" Luca nods, "I need to talk to Jason." Chiron looks at him a moment before nodding and letting him inside. Luca walks over to Jason and holds out his hand. "Hello, Jason. I'm Luca D'Ambrosio and I know how you're going to possibly die."
