The two had a singular month of peace.

But a relationship built with walls of glass could never withstand the meteor strike of society.

Regardless, they still had to fight off the people in school who refused to believe that Junhui could be a homosexual.

And still, Minghao was relentlessly harassed the second Junhui left his side.

But it was somewhat peaceful, nonetheless.

"Come home. Now."

Junhui had never heard his mother so angry at him in his entire life, so naturally he worked his charms with the office ladies and came running back home.

"Mom?"

He walked through the front door, apprehensive at the fatality of the silence that settled over his house like a blanket of suffocation. Yet this quiet would turn out to be far deadlier than he imagined.

"I've pulled you out. I'm going to homeschool you from now on."

His mother appeared before him; fury in her eyes like he'd never seen before.

"May I ask... why? What about all my friends?"

"By "friends" do you mean Minghao? When were you going to tell me you two were something far more sinister than just friends, hm?"

Her voice shook and dread filled every fiber of the boy's being.

She knows.

"How did you...?"

"How did I find out? Well, thanks to one of your true friends who was rightfully concerned for your health, I was alerted this morning to the fact that you've been dating that boy for almost four months now."

At that, Junhui scoffed as he felt his eyes begin to swim in a pool of bitter tears.

He knew the school president and his little posse were behind this, and her words had only further confirmed what he already knew.

He wanted to kill Hwang Junho.

"I'm going back to school."

"No, you're not."

"You can't stop me."

"I am your mother! I very much can and I WILL."

"I can't leave him alone at school, you don't understand!"

Tears of frustration poured down the boy's cheeks and yet he still persisted.

"You are not to see that boy now, or ever. I forbid you to see him!"

Reached forward in a flash, she snatched his cellphone out of his hand.

Oh no.

The color drained from Junhui's face as he realized she was going to take it with her, meaning he couldn't call his boyfriend to tell him what was going on.

The gang... that wicked gang of jocks are going to gang up on him again.

Completely ignoring his mother's outraged cries, he turned back the way he came and bolted out of the front door like he was on fire.

And he started to run like his life depended on it, away from that wretched house and the unforgiving beast inside it.

I'm coming Hao, please hang on.

Meanwhile, Minghao didn't know which way was up.

His cellphone was lying somewhere on the ground near a tree, smashed to pieces. Though what was the point anyway, when Junhui hadn't picked up three times.

The boy had seemingly disappeared from sight without a single explanation.

I thought we parted happily at the start of the day... could he have thought things over during his classes and decided he didn't want to see me?

His thoughts however were interrupted every few seconds when a fresh punch landed squarely on his chest, arms, back, face.

They didn't really care where they hit him, whether with words or with fists it still hurt the same and they knew it.

They knew he was powerless.

"Jun..." He called out weakly, though nobody heard him over the jeers.

And Junhui wasn't coming to save him this time, Minghao realized.

The boys had gotten bored, traipsing back into the school as if nothing had happened - and yet there he was, picking his broken body up off of the ground.

The boy decided to walk home and as he suspected, nobody noticed a small person slipping out of the school gates.

Nobody missed him.

He wondered if Junhui was okay, but quickly shook the thought off.

It was good that the older had decided to give up fighting a losing battle.
