NO POV
Nights at the beach house are awfully quiet. The type of quiet that makes it hard for you to go to sleep in.

OLIVIA'S POV
I guess ever since the car crash my mind has reacted to things differently, and one of those things is sleep. For the past few days I've been up till 4:00 AM, and waking up at 6:00 AM. I usually just stay on the patio and read or I just sit there and stare at the amazing view. Tonight I decided to read a book, so I brought my favorite book and a cup of coffee. I was reading for about half an hour till someone behind me said, "It's not Summer without You?" He asked.

I was surprised that Spencer knew the book title.

"Your favorite book right?" He asked.

I was even more surprised at the fact that Spencer still remembered that from our first conversation at school.

"You still remember?!" I asked in a surprised way.

"Of course. You were fan girling over it alot on our sushi dates." He responded.

Hearing him say that we used to go on dates made me smile. As soon as I noticed I turned away. He sat down next to me. I didn't pay much attention to him at first. I was just looking at the view, but then I could feel his eyes on me, so I looked at him. It was like a staring contest, but you could blink and the loser was who would look away first.

SPENCERS POV
I was just looking at Liv, thinking about how badly I wanted her to be mines. I regret not cherishing the moments where I could call her my girl. That's why I'm trying to get back in a place where I can Atleast talk to her. Laugh with her. And see her smile. As I looked at her she slowly turned her head to me. She was leaning her head on her fist. With a big smile. It wasn't big enough to show her teeth, but it was big. After we stared at eachother for a while, she finally looked away.

"What?!" She said laughing.

"Nothing. Just admiring the view." I said.

She started blushing. It made it look like she had makeup on. And her dimples were showing.

"That was corny." She said whilst giggling.

"It's true." I said.

She stared at me a little more and then got up. She said she was going on a run.

"Hey, uh can I come with?" I asked. I didn't notice at the time, but I did seem a little greedy asking and doing everything thing with her.

"I don't see why not. Actually, you have to take me to DQ after." Liv said.

"Okay, deal. I'll call us a Uber." I said.

After about 5 minutes she was ready. She came downstairs in black camouflage tights and a black sports bra. With a white fanny pack. I couldn't take my eyes off of her. It's like whatever she did when she was close to me was attractive.

"Hey! Spencer!" She yelled.

I got out of my trance. Not trying to make it obvious that I was checking her out.

"You done checking me out?" She said smiling.

"Uh yea- uh I mean no?" I said. Stuttering in between.

"Okay. Good. Let's go!" She said grabbing my hand.

She still gave me butterflies, even when I was with Alicia and she was with Trey. There was a spark.
You know what I mean?
