Betty's POV
These first weeks here have been great, I'm loving the diner but part of me can't wait till I've been here long enough so I could have enough saved to get an apartment. I'm not liking the inn but it's better then the drive inn. I'm not sure Alice really likes me though, she gets really jumpy when I'm around and never looks me in the eye. But me and Jug have been getting closer. We never found out who robbed us but just as well I don't think we really wanted to. I know it freaks them out thinking someone in there town could've done this but no one knows because he was wearing a black hood.

I was about to clock in when Jughead stopped me.

"Hey." He says nervously.

"Hey."

We both just smile goofy.

"I wanted to know if you wanted to go out to dinner tonight, after your shift?" He asks me.

My heart gets excited.

"Like a date?"

"Well no I mean maybe, yes a date." He mumbled like he was scared of my response.

"I would love to Jughead."

"Great!" He says.

"Okay, great."

Jug walks away and and Gladys and Alice turn the corner and start squealing, they were extremely excited.

"Oh my God, this is amazing what are you gonna wear?" Alice asks.

"First how long have you been there and this." I say.

They both look at me in concern.

"No no no, Jugs at class all morning. We'll close up and go get you something to wear." Alice says.

"What?"

"Yes!" They say practically untying my apron and pushing me out the door.

"Let's go!!!!" They both squeak.

Jughead's POV
Oh my God she said yes! I'm so excited. I can't even pay attention to my physics class. I can't, I'm gonna fail. It won't hurt if I miss one class. I'll just prepare myself for tonight. My plan is to take her to this nice Italian place off Main Street and go on a walk by the river, I hope she loves it!

I'm walking home and I think about her of course who else would I be thinking about. Than I start to remember my accident and how a drunk driver made me crash on my motorcycle almost killing me.

I hate that she rides it but I can't ask her not to we're not that close and even if we were she wouldn't stop being herself because a guy told her to. Would she?
