The Things We Left Behind

Betty's POV
We walked out the door to Jellybeans room and I see my handsome Jughead in a nice suite with suspenders. 

"Wow, you look amazing!" He says not even trying to hide his smile. 

"Your not so bad yourself." I say. We exchange a intense look of pure lust. 

"Okay, well the speakeasy opens at 7:30, we should probably get going." 

"Speakeasy? Since when?" I say. 

"About a year ago. Veronica Lodge opened it. Do you know her?" 

"No. Riverdale sure has changed." 

"You have no idea." Fp says. 

"Shall we." Jug says. 

"We shall." 

We get to pops and go straight to the back and went into a phone booth. 

"Okay, umm is this a secret hideout or." 

"Ronnie is very particular with people in her speakeasy." Jb says. 

"Ronnie?" I repeat. I know I've heard that name before. 

"Yeah, Veronica." 

My heart sinks to my stomach. The only person I did not want to see is my brother and I hope to God I don't. 

We walk down a the stairs to a beautiful open room it almost looks like a ball room, just a little smaller. 

"Hi, welcome, I'm Reggie. I'll be your waiter." He sits us down. 

We're walking to the table and I feel a sudden pull on my weight and than I realize it's Jughead. He's holding me and kisses my head. 

"I hope you know you look absolutely stunning."

"Oh well, you might've said something like that before." 

He kisses me again on the lips holding my head in his hands. 

"You know I have a surprise for you later." I tell him. 

"Oh really? I can't wait." He says kissing me one more time on the lips. 

He lets me go and I sit on the edge of the booth, him on the inside. We order some food have some drinks well except for me. 

"So how long have you guys been dating?" Fp asks. 

"Almost 2 years." Jughead says proudly. 

"Wow." 

Jellybean giggles. 

"What's with the giggle?" Fp asks. 

"Oh, nothing." 

Jellybean and I exchange smiles then Jug leaned against me and grabbed my hand. I've never seen him this happy. How do I know he'll be happy about the baby. His life is so good. I don't want to ruin it, he's about to have his book published and he's just now living freely and I'm asking him to give up his freedom to be a dad, all the stress just makes me sick to my stomach. 

"Excuse me." I say running to the bathroom and then puking my guts out. I see out the corner of my eye someone following me. 

I'm sitting on the ground in the bathroom stall and I see Archie come and sit with me in the stall. 

"Betty?...What the hell are you doing here? Where have you been?" 

I look up and state at him then I puke again. 

"I've been in Toledo, met some cool people and just stayed there." I say getting up from the ground and walking to the sink. As I wipe my mouth he looks back at the stall then again at me. 

"Well you didn't come say bye." 

"To be honest I didn't think you'd care." 

"Betty of course I would. Your my twin sister, why wouldn't I?" 

"I had no place to live and I haven't talked to you in months. I.." He grabs my hands by lifting them and pulling me in for that I've missed you hug, and I can't help but hug him back. 

"I'm glad your here now." He says. 

"Well I'm here with my boyfriend and his family I guess." 

"Boyfriend?" He says cutting me off. 

"Archie no!" I yell. 

Archie walks back to the table where he knows I came from...

"Archie!!" 

"Hi I'm Archie..." He says sitting at the table making Fp and Jug jump. 

"Archie.." 

I grab him by the ear and pull him away but he somehow escapes. 

"I'm Betty's twin brother." 

And it leaves a huge shock to Jughead's face.
