Cross, Epic, and Fresh ran threw the woods. Sure, they weren't dressed for a stealth mission, but did that stop them from stealing for the king? No, it did not. But it should have. Propably.
Cross was dressed in mostly white. His coat, hat, and boots were white, while his shirt and pants were black. The only colour on him being his red scar and eye. Attached to his belt was a hoslter for a gun and a pocket for throwing knifes.
Epic at least was in dark colours, a black hood attached to a purple pancho. A white shirt and black pants with a rips in them. His boots were brown. And leasly a purple belt that held his black sword.
Fresh, however, was probably how they caught, in neons. a teal shash, a purple and orange jacket, blue pants, and his hat and boots were yellow and red. His shash held a bat he would use to fight.

The trio was running from royal guards. It was around a hundred. Killing the queen and taking the kings tresure chest had something to do with that.

Cross saw the woods end, but he wasn't happy with where they were now. A cliff. Cross tightened his grip on the chest as he neared the edge. Fresh looked down, the bananda around his eyes changed from "RUN!" To "...." He looked around for anything else. "Guess it's just the two ways of death." He said. Epic glard at him. The bananda now said "wut?"

"End of the line!" A familiar voice said. Dream. She was head of the navy and lead of capturing pirates, like Cross. "So 'Captian' Cross." Cross turned to see it was just her, Ink, and Swap. "You have three choices. Come with us peacfuly and we put you in jail. Come with us after we beat you in a fight, and get hung for your crimes. Or you can jump into the sea, this island has very sharp rocks so I assume there sharp here too." She was right. The rocks were sharp here. She was indeed right.

"I'd rather die rich than die poor!" Cross knew no matter what he would be hung, killing the queen after all. Her dust was still on his hands. "I'm jumping! But just know, these two weren't in the castle when the queen died. It was all me."

Cross jumped off the cliff. The last thing he saw was his friends being put in hand cuffs by Swap and Ink as Dream looked at Cross in disapointment. "This was your choice? Then deal with the consequences." She said. Cross held onto the chesh filled with treasure. He was gald that his friends won't be hung for his crimes at least.

Cross hit a rock with the back of his spine. The pain was so unbarable he screamed louder than he has ever before. He fell again onto another rock, and again. Then he hit the water. It was cold and felt good. Maybe he would drown before dying for the pain of those rocks. It was surely an interesting thought. A skeleton, drowning.

Cross fought to keep his sockets open. He was tired and wanted the pain to be over as he sunk into the ocean. The last thing he saw before closing his sockets was a black tentacle. When he closed his sockets he felt some bliss, is this what it felt like to die in the arms of another? It was only an animal but it was still nice.

Cross woke up in some kind of bed. a bubble was around his head so he could breathe. But it was clear he was underwater and in a cave. He looked around and to his surprise both his shirt and coat were missing, and instead he had bandages on him. Cross soon did find his coat and shirt and put them on.

Unfortunately for Cross he didn't know how to swim, so he just walked around, with each step the sand went up a little and moved around. "Maybe I can go faster without my boots?" He woundered. He tested. Turns out it didn't help, it just made him float. Maybe it would if he knew how to swim however. He pushed his legs off the cave ceiling and put on his boots again.

It was too dark to see much but with the glow of his eyes Cross was able to find a driftwood door. He pushed the door and it fell, bubbles followed the door, and some went left? And a red glow was also left? What was going on? Cross looked to the left, where the red light came from. In front of him was a half skeleton half fish creature with a glowing red target hovering infront of his chest. The skeleton fish and pure black sockets with no pinpricks, black tears surounded his face spilling into the water. Around his neck was a fluffy collar. His tail was like a sharks, which type, Cross couldn't tell.
