Many villagers believed that she was a magical cat who could grant wishes and bring good fortune.
But no one dared to approach her, as she was fiercely independent and aloof.
One day, a young girl named Lily came to the village with her family.
She was fascinated by Midnight and longed to get close to her.
She would watch Midnight from afar, marveling at her graceful movements and the way she seemed to blend into the shadows.
As days passed, Lily grew bolder and decided to try and befriend Midnight.
She brought her some food and sat patiently by her side, hoping the cat would come to her.
But Midnight simply ignored her and walked away.
Undeterred, Lily persisted and continued to visit Midnight every day. Gradually, the cat started to warm up to her and allowed her to stroke her fur. T

Lily grew worried and decided to ask her about it.
"Midnight, where do you go when you leave for so long?"
Lily asked.
Midnight looked at her with her piercing green eyes and said,
"I have my own battles to fight, Lily. There are dangers in the forest that only a few can face."
Lily was confused but didn't press further.
She continued to spend time with Midnight, enjoying her company and admiring her strength and independence.
