Chapter 10: Sierra's POV

After redoing the long braid in my hair over 50 times, I feel like I am ready to go out. I have my bikini on underneath a pair of floral shorts and this really cute sweater that Ramin got me. It has "New York, New York" written across the middle of it. I really love it. He does know me so well.

After about 5 minutes of anxiously waiting, and pacing around my apartment (lots of pacing), Ramin finally rings the doorbell.
"Took you long enough!"
I say when I open the door.
He chuckles and smiles grabbing my hand and leading me to his car. And standing in front of his car were his two boys.
"Hadley, Jaiden!"
I scream as I race towards them and squeeze them in a tight hug.

I kiss both of their foreheads and says.
"Guys I've missed you so much it's been about a year wow."
I get in the Karimloo car and Ramin says, chuckling.
"You know sometimes I think the only reason you hang out with me is because of my kids."
"And sometimes I think the only reason you hang out with me is because of my cats."

Ramin spits out his coffee and looks at me in terror.
"I hate your cats!"
He says with the same terrified expression one has when looking at a spider.
"I know."
I chuckle.
"I mean your cats are literally the animal embodiment of satan."
"Okay that's going a bit too far mister."
I pour my lips.

"You know I'm just joking with you Sie."
He punches my arm.
"Yeah I know."
It feels really good to be going to do something with Ramin and his kids because they're like my family when my family isn't here. But I swear the number of times people have thought that me and Ramin are a couple and that Hadley and Jaiden are our kids! Oh my god!

When we reach the water park I see immediately why Ramin chose to take his kids here. There's slides and water galore. You could literally lose children in here. Ramin will have to be extra careful not to let Hadley or Jaiden stray too far otherwise we might not get them back. We slowly make our way towards the changing rooms taking in the beautiful view of a tropical paradise with palm trees and artificial coconuts everywhere. If only I could spend the rest of my life here.

Once in the changing rooms, I remove my shorts and sweater to reveal my black and white polka-dotted bikini. I tie my hair up in a messy bun to avoid it bothering me because I have a LOT of hair. Actually more than I know what to do with. Maybe I'll cut it short over summer. Double checking that I look okay, I walk out and see Hadley, Jaiden and the holy abs of steel.

My mouth is like drooling from the inside. Is that even a thing? But seriously Ramin has been working out, and it has been paying off.
"So where do you guys want to go first?"
I ask. The kids answer by grabbing our hands and dragging us into the wave machine pool. If my hair was down at this point I probably would of cried because those fake waves should be illegal they are that powerful.

It didn't take very long for the kids to get bored of the main pool so me and Ramin found ourselves being dragged on slide after slide. It was all okay until they found the tallest and most dangerous looking ride. With looks of glee in Hadley and Jaiden's eyes we knew that we could say no. The long trek up 50 million stairs didn't seem to put them off either, in fact it actually died them up making them more and more hyper.

By the time we got to the top me and Ramin are exhausted but the kids are jumping up and down with excitement. The man looking after the slide explains to us that we go down in two's, one sitting on the others lap.
"So I guess I'll be sitting on you lap then!"
Ramin jokes.
"Seeing as I am the female out of us two."
He bats his eyelashes in a really funny way that I can't help but giggle.
"Your laugh is so cute!"
He says, almost to himself.
"Thanks Ramen!"
"Oi!"

We watch Hadley and Jaiden disappear down the flume and we know that it's our turn so we plonk ourselves down (me sitting on Ramins lap with my arms around his neck just in case I slip off or something). And with a little push we're off. The slide is quite slow being it is exhilarating being this high and there is something about seeing the water park from this high that is quite breath taking. Perhaps it's that way that the sunset is reflected on the main pool. Or the way that it is so serene and quiet. I feel like I'm in my own little world.

But I am quickly pulled out of that fantasy when I feel myself start to slip off of Ramin's lap.
"Ramin crap I'm slipping!"
I yell. Of course Ramin takes it in a jokey way and says
"Don't worry Sie-bear I will save you!"
And he starts paddling towards me like a right old twit.
"Ramin you look stupid and since when have you started calling me Sie-bear?"
"Since about 5 seconds ago, do you want me to stop?"
"No I think it's cute."
And awkward silence comes and I know I've just created tension. Really Sierra?

Just before the end of the slide Ramin manages to pull me into his lap and we land in the water. It came as such a shock that I forgot to breathe in before landing in the water so I gasp for air until I am brought to the surface by Ramin who is carrying me bridal style. Our faces are so close together that we could nearly hear each other's heartbeat. My green eyes look into his rich hazel eyes and I'm captivated. And that was the moment I realised, I'm in love. As our faces grow closer and closer together my heart rate increases. Our foreheads touch and I know we should stop because there are people around us including his own kids but we're caught up in the moment. Just one time I want to feel Ramin kiss me. Just once. His lips graze mine and a pang of longing runs through my body.

I close my eyes ready for impact but it never happens. He pulled away. I guess I couldn't expect anything seeing as he doesn't like me in that way and his kids are here but I was so ready to have Ramin show me just a tiny bit of his romantic affection that I have been craving. Within 15 minutes I am back in my apartment feeling blue. I want him. I want him to love me the way I have always loved him...

AN: GUYS I AM SO FRICKING SORRY I HAVENT POSTED IN MONTHS I HAVE JUST BEEN SO BUSY AND IM REALLY SORRY SO PLEASE DONT KILL MEH. I'm gonna try to post more regularly from now on!
