The Dying Signal

Panic.

Grey stood in the office room with Hetch and other workers who were there talking amongst themselves about future plans and the people they would need for their plans to go accordingly. "To end our meeting, we are on the lookout for two people. Charlie and Sneeg, if you see them let me or Grey know and we'll make sure they are put into their rightful place." Hetch spoke to the workers earning a nod in response as Grey stood there in silence as they kept their hands in their pockets. In one of their pockets was the matching bracelet that they had with Ranboo that they had found a day before. "Alright everyone that concludes our meeting, you all know your goals," Hetch explained as the workers begin leaving the office going to where they needed to go. 

"Grey can we talk for a moment," Hetch spoke just as Grey was about to leave the room they nodded turning to look at Hetch before he continued with what he was planning to ask them. "Your goal is different from everyone else. I need you with me to figure out plans for the next show." Hetch explained to them as Grey stood there looking at him as Grey stood there. "I don't think I'll be that useful for it, Hetch. I think I would be greater in helping find Charlie and Sneeg." Grey explained looking at Hetch earning a look at them for a brief moment before Hetch responded. "You sure? You could be a part of the planning process. We could use your creativity on ideas." Hetch spoke looking at them while Grey shook their head once more while standing there as they watched him. "I think I'll be more helpful in terms of finding Sneeg and Charlie. I know what they look like." Grey explained to Hetch while it clicked for the male in front of them as he nodded. "You are right about that, very well." Hetch explained looking at them causing Grey to smile behind their mask before leaving the office in an attempt to 'look' for Sneeg and Charlie.

Hetch on the other hand didn't believe that's what Grey was going to exactly do as he noticed one of the workers walking past the office as he quickly went to the entrance. "You." He spoke causing the worker to turn to look at him confused before he continued. "Keep an eye on Grey. I don't think they're going to capture Sneeg or Charlie if they find either of them. Keep me updated." Hetch explained to the worker earning a nod in response as they began to follow Grey with a great amount of distance between the two of them to avoid being caught following them. 

Grey continued walking through the mall as they looked around trying to play it off that they were looking for Sneeg or Charlie or even both of them while deep down they were trying to find Ranboo and Charlie as they wanted to show the item they found to Ranboo. Getting to the cabin set Grey noticed three people standing there talking amongst themselves as they realized that it was Ranboo and Charlie talking with someone as they walked over to the three. "You know, you're sort of out in the open. I won't say anything except be careful." They spoke to the three realizing that Sneeg was with them causing Sneeg to turn to look at them before backing up slightly as Grey put their hands up in defense. "Hey I'm sorry about what happened but I had no choice. There were workers there." They explained looking at Sneeg while Ranboo turned to look at Grey as he spoke. 

"What are you doing here?" He asked curiously as Grey walked over to the three before beginning to speak. "I was looking for you, Ranboo," Grey explained before remembering what they had as they took the bracelet out of their pocket and held it up before beginning to speak. "I found it in a locker that had my name on it." They explained causing Ranboos face to light up even with a mask on as he took out the matching bracelet before the two charms connected. Grey looked at the connected charms before they begin to have a brief memory as they stood there zoning out.

FLASHBACK

Ranboo and Grey were walking through a mall walking past people as they were talking to one another. "Ranboo how much further?" Grey asked their friend earning a chuckle from the male in front of them before he begin to speak. "Just a few more minutes." He explained leading them in some direction as the two walked. When they got to the store Ranboo was looking for the two and stepped inside Ranboo went to the front desk and spoke to the worker for a moment before chuckling as the worker handed him two boxes, thanking the worker he went over to Grey for a moment before he spoke. "Here, I found this a few days ago and thought it would be good for us," Ranboo explained holding the box up to Grey as they looked at him confused.
