Before continuing with the first chapter...let's go back to right before our Hero found their friend...
When they had been grabbed by the workers, the last thing they remembered was being silenced quickly to prevent themself from yelling. Grey began to panic as they watched Hetch stand in the dark waiting for Ranboo to bow to the camera, when he did bow though the light turned on in the room Hetch stood in as he grabbed Ranboo. Grey decided to take this to their advantage and began to scream, which was muffled to try and get Ranboos attention but it was too late, Ranboo was injected with something causing him to go slump as Hetch spoke to some workers who stood by as demanded by Hetch. "Come get Ranboo and put him in the heart of the server, making sure to tie him with the ropes in there. Can't have us losing our hero, he should be waking up in a few so we can have the final choice with him and the audience." Hetch explained looking at the workers as they would nod going over to Hetch before taking Ranboo from him as they took him to the heart of the server.
"Now with you..." Hetch spoke turning to look at Grey as the workers kept them from breaking free before he had a small smirk on his face as he would continue to speak. "You tried to warn Ranboo but unfortunately you were too late. You could be used to help further with the plans though.." Hetch spoke as he grabbed Grey's chin looking at them while they proceeded to try and pull their head back. This would result in Hetch softly chuckling looking at them while standing there before he turned to the workers who held them as he spoke. "Keep an eye on them until I give you the all-go. When I do, bring them into the room, the audience should know what happening to them." Hetch explained as he stood there before putting his hands behind his back as he continued. "Clean them up a bit, we'll get them completely ready after their appearance," Hetch spoke before earning a nod from both of the workers Grey stood there as they were about to try and escape before they too were injected with something, causing them to go limp, basically going unconscious.
Waking up a few moments later, Grey would realize that they were no longer in the room that they were taken to with Ranboo but instead in a secret area where the controls happened. Looking down at themself, they realized that they were tied down to a chair before glancing back up. They would see on one of the screens the camera view of Ranboo who had woken up not too long ago and was pleading with the audience to kill him to prevent him from joining the cast. "Where am I..." Grey mumbled to themself, looking around the room as they noticed that none of the workers were paying as much attention to them at this moment, waiting for the cue they needed to continue the plans.
Grey was about to begin and see if they could untie themself but began to hear yelling as they looked up at the screen once more seeing Ranboo yell at the camera, being the audience, to let him die as they sat there trapped. Grey glanced down seeing the voting results go from letting him live to quickly changing to letting him die as they panicked slightly attempting to get out of the chair. They wanted to get out of that room, to save not only themself and Ranboo, but everyone else dragged and trapped into this fake show. Just as they were about to attempt to untie themself they heard Hetch speak causing them to look up at the screen.
"Well, it seems the audience has made their decision, Ranboo. Are you ready to hear it? The audience has voted, for you, to die!" Hetch spoke as the lights that had been behind Ranboo turned red as the box closed on Ranboo, blood beginning to fall out of the box. Grey who wasn't expecting that to happen began to tear up as they sat there. "Ranboo!" Grey yelled trying to get out of the chair before some of the workers noticed holding Grey down in the chair before seeing the cue that Hetch gave to them as they untied Grey keeping their hold on them before dragging them out of the control room going to the heart of the server as Grey heard Hetch spoke.
