Jaylin pov:

After getting ready for the party I walked downstairs trying to not be greeted by my mom. Of course it didn't happen. As soon as i walked downstairs my mom started yelling at me "where do you think you're going dressed like that you slut?"

"To a party" I shed a tear

"No you have to make me dinner"

I didn't reply i just ran out of the house and called Matt

He was supposed to be picking me up in half an hour but i really needed him now.

"Matt can you come and pick me up"I ask

"Right now" he asks sounding a little worried

"Yes please"

"Of course where are you"

"I'm down ***** street"

"I'm on my way see you in a minute"

-a few minutes later

I see Matt driving towards me so i try to wipe my eyes so he doesn't see that i have been crying. He still noticed

"Hey why are you crying" he asks I don't answer "why did i need to pick you up."

"My mom" is all I said and he understood

"Are you still up for the party"

"Yeah i could use something to take my mind off of that woman" I kind of laugh

"Oh good" he smiles "let's go"

We get back to his house and i go to nicks room to fix my makeup as i have been crying and he has a lot of my stuff in his room.

"Jaylin? He questions "what's wrong?why are you here?"

"Nothing i just got bored as I'm already ready" i reply

"Oh ok" he says back not quite believing my answer as it looked like i has been crying, "well i need your help on my outfit anyways."

"Ok" I turn to him "show me the options"

-40 minutes later

Nick had picked out his outfit. I had finished my makeup. It was time to leave.

"Come on Chris it's time to go" i say walking into Chris's room

"0k and why didn't i know you were here" he says smiling

-at the party(nobody's pov)

Jaylin and Matt were at the drinks table until he got a message and had to go meet his friend. He left Jaylin alone at the table only for a few minutes.

She was stood at the table when she felt someone pull her hair throwing her into the corner of a table and onto the ground. It was her abusive ex Jake Johnson.

Luckily Matt had just come back and saw it all happen.

"HEY YOU ASSHOLE FUCK OFF" Matt yelled at Jake whilst running to crouch next to Jaylin. Her head was bleeding and she was unconscious. "It's what she deserves" Jake said beginning to walk away.

Matt jumped up and punched him in the face. "I'm gonna kick you're ass" Jake said before punching him back.

They broke into a fight. Matt was winning. Nick and Chris ran into the room. Chris ran to Matt and Jake to try and break up the fight and Nick ran to Jaylin to help her.

Chris's pov:

I ran to Matt and Jake pulling Matt off of him.

"Chris get off of me!" Matt yelled at me trying to escape my grasp "I'm gonna kill him!"
