-1 hour later

Matts pov:

I am still laying in my bed trying to sleep but I can't. I need to clear my head. Im going on a walk.

I head to the front door messaging Nick to let him know where I'm going.

Jaylin's pov:

"JAYLIN GET YOUR ASS DOWNSTAIRS"

My mom had given up trying to get into my room.

I cautiously walked down stairs

"Why"

"YOU NEED TO WALK THIS STUPID DOG!"

"But it's dark outside"

"EXACTLY MAYBE ILL BE LUCKY AND YOU'LL GET KIDNAPPED!"

"Whatever" I sighed "come on charm"

Besides Nick, Chris and maybe Matt my dog charm is my best friend, she is always there for me. I have very bad anxiety and I sh without anybody knowing and she is the only one I have to calm me down at home, I have no siblings and my dad left when I was born which is the reason my mom hates me.

I walk out the door and mom slams it behind me.

-10 minutes later

As Im walking I hear a deep voice

"Hey sweetheart"

I turn around to see a man that looked to be in his 40s

"Umm hi"

"Are you on your own" he says getting closer to me

"Umm why"

"Thought you migh-"

"She's with me" I hear a familiar voice say as he puts his hands on my waist and pulls me towards him

"Who's this" the man says in an annoyed tone

"Im her boyfriend, now piss off"

The man scoffs and turns around and walks away

(i'm sorry but this is wattpad of course matt happened to be there!)

"You ok jay" Matt says taking his hands off me

I turn around and hug him "thank you"

"Do you want me to walk you home?"

That's the last place I want to go.

"Actually can I stay at your house tonight... I don't really want to go home" I say not letting him go

"Of course"

"Are you sure it's not to much troub-" I start

"No no no" he interrupts "of course not"

"What about charm?"

"My family won't mind" he smiles "especially Trevor"

"Ok"

-5 minutes later

Nicks pov:

I heard a knock on the door it must be Matt because I locked the door when he left.

I ran to the door opening it to see Matt and Jaylin.

"Jaylin?" I say pulling her into a hug "what's wrong"

"I don't want to talk about it" she replies still hugging me

"Ok, I'm here to talk whenever you're ready"

-1 hour later (no one's pov)

Jaylin and Nick are sat on the couch watching a movie when Jaylin asks "would you mind if I took a shower"

The shower is Jaylin's happy place where she can relax and be alone with her thoughts and Nick knew that.

"Of course, I still have some of your pyjamas here they're in my wardrobe on the bottom shelf"

Nick and Jaylin are like siblings they are each others best friends. Jaylin is always staying over. She is here more that her own house so they find it easier to just keep some of her stuff at the boys house.

"Thanks Nick"

Jaylin walks to the bathroom and locks the door, or well she thinks she did. She takes her top of so she has a bra and shorts on when all of a sudden Matt walks in. (again i apologise but this is wattpad!)

"OMG MATT" she yells covering her body in the t-shirt she just took off.

"OH MY GOD I AM SO SORRY" Matt says slapping his hands over his eyes as quick as possible "WHY DIDNT YOU LOCK THE DOOR"

"I DID"

Matt checks the door only looking when he was turned away from jay. He sees that it is broken.

"It's broken, I don't know how that's happened" he says forgetting to cover his eyes as he turns around. When he looks at her he sees that she has bruises and sh scars all over her body that was covered up before.

"Oh my god what happened"

Jaylin looks down to her body and suddenly breaks down in tears.

"I'm sorry Matt"

"What?" He starts "What for"

She suddenly sits down against the wall as her breathing starts quickening. Matt knows she is having a panic attack. He rushes over trying to calm her down.

Even though the two aren't supposed to be friends Matt knows everything about Jaylin including her history of mental health.

"Breathe with me" he says as he breathes calmly and she tries to follow along. "You're safe" he wants to hug her but she is shirtless so he wants to be respectful.

-10 minutes after

Jaylin had calmed down and is now just sitting in the bathroom with Matt.

"Are you ok now" he asks

"Yes thanks to you" she says smiling at him

"Would you like to have your shower now?" he laughs

"Yes thank you" she smiles

Matt leaves the room and goes to nicks room but doesn't walk in.

Matt pov:

I walked out of the bathroom and towards nicks room but decide that Jaylin probably doesn't want him knowing anything if she hasn't told him anything already, and I dont even know if what I think is happening is actually happening. But I'm pretty sure it is.

I turn around and head to my room.

A little while later I hear a knock...

I know a lot happened this part but don't be fooled into thinking that this is everything big that happens :) (nothing sexual in anyway I promise)
