It was your 21st birthday. You were really excited because Louis, your boyfriend of two years, was going to take you to his favorite bar tonight. You had met Louis exactly two years ago, on your 19th birthday, at a signing, because your little sister was a huge fan of the band he was in, One Direction, and that day, he had made you put his number in his phone, and it only got better after that.
You put on a tight dark purple dress, and a couple of thin silver necklaces, and pulled on a pair of strappy silver 5 inch heels. You knew that your feet would be killing you after, but you wanted to look gorgeous tonight. You put on a bit of make up, then left your flat to go to your car and drive to Louis’ flat, that he shared with his bandmate Harry. When you started dating, you had both decided that it would be best not to share a flat, so that’s how it was.
When you got to the flat, Louis opened the door for you. He looked beyond sexy. “Shall we go?” Louis said, and you nodded. He led you down to his car, and by 7 PM you were at the club.
The whole night was going great, you were having an amazing time. Then, you heard the first few notes of “Hero” by Enrique Iglesias. It was yours & Louis’ song. You turned around to smile at louis, but he wasn’t there. Suddenly, you heard his voice. Enrique started singing, and Louis started talking. “Y/N. It’s been the most amazing two years. So many memories. It’s incredible how meeting one person can change your life forever. I love you so much, and I want to spend your 22nd birthday with you, and your 23rd, and all of the ones that will come after that. Y/N, will you make me the happiest man ever and marry me? He crossed the dance floor to you, and got down on one knee. All of the other people in the club were saying “awww”. You started to cry. You ran to Louis and hugged him as tight as you could. “Yes, yes, a million times yes,” you screamed between sobs. “I love you Y/N Tomlison,” Louis said, and kissed you as he slipped the ring on your finger.
