*1 month later*
I wake up, I was on a hospital bed in those hospital gown. I open my eyes slowly. I see my aunt, my brother, and Nate sitting on the couch on the other side of the the hospital bed. I sit up in my bed and I want to talk but they all up me off when they run up to the side of my bed.
"I was solo worried about you" my brother said.
"I'm just glad your okay Katie." Nate said kissing my forehead.
My aunt did say anything.
"Can you guys go out I need to tell Katie something?" My brother asked
"What's up?" I asked confused
"Look I have some bad news. I was going to tell you yes-" I cut him off
"What is it!" I say with worry in my voice.
"....mom.....she's gone." He said sadly
"What you mean 'she's gone'? Where did she go? Why don't we just go find her?" I pretty much scream at him. I start to sob into my hands.
"I'm sorry but she's died. There was nothing we could do. When I got home from school she was lying on the floor. I didn't know what she was doing do I called for help. They told me that she had a heart attack and that we couldn't save her for anything." He said softly, hugging on to me. "I promise that I will take of you, make sure that nothing happens to you. I promise. I love you Katie." He whispered into my ear.
"Okay," I say into his chest "what are we going to do with her body and her stuff.
"Well we're going to sell the house and I'm going to move out here with you. Then she always said that she wanted to cremated."
With that end note. The doctor let me go home which I did and then pretty much I cried about my mom, ate, watched Netflix and went to sleep.
