Heal
We were once in a desert
Dry and barren
Lacking purpose let alone understanding
We longed for attention, guidance and love
Instead, we were left with insomnia disorientated mood swings
Finding faults without ends
And doing nothing to mend the stitches that are left withered in dustHow do we discern when to wait patiently
And let go off the chuff?
How do I live in the now
And let go off my tomorrows?
Most of all
How do we learn to heal and actually feel it?Our journeys were never meant to be our destinations
Yet we still travelled
Turning swords into farm tools
Separating walls and barricades
Into nothing but foot stoolsZeal without knowledge, will forever remain a runway horse
And as celestial beings we have a lot of baggage
We lash out, at anyone who seems intimidating
And are left lonely, in a pit of depression having desperation in vessels that are empty
Our hearts are massive but they are empty
And losing ourselves is easier than lying to ourselves
Yet everything seems temporary
And I feel guilty to abandon all effort
