We were riding across the plains, and it was extremely boring. My butt was starting to hurt from being on the horse for so long. Legolas fell asleep on my shoulder. His arms were wrapped around my torso and his head rested on my shoulder. I could feel every rise and fall of his chest. It was extremely annoying considering that his breathing didn't match the beat of the horse's hooves hitting the ground. I felt him stir and I automatically held my breath. He turned his head, so his face was facing my neck. He nestled his head into my neck. I tensed. He made this kind of content sigh. What a baby. On the outside I was tense and tried to seem chill. But really my heart was melting and the butterflies in my stomach came all the way into my throat. Making me unable to breathe or speak. I hated it. I didn't want to feel this way. Because in the end, I would always be the freak. So, I pushed away all the crazy thoughts and messed up emotions and kept riding.

We eventually ended up at Ronan and I woke up Legolas. He flushed when he saw what position he was sleeping in. I teased him about it.
"You're such a baby! You just snuggled right in with your little smile on your face." I said in a baby voice to mock him. We saw a flag fly and land next to us. It gave me bad vibes.
"Be careful what you say. Do not look for welcome here." Gandalf says before we keep moving. We entered the kingdom. It was kinda sad. Well this is depressing.
Everyone looked at us as we rode up to the castle. Well, sort of a castle... not really. More like a big stone building. Not really as magnificent as I had hoped. But, hey! Who am I to judge? I live in a hole in the ground! A sadness filled me as I thought about the Shire. I wonder if I'll ever make it back there? When we finally got there they stripped us of our weapons. I groaned as I removed EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. But when they tried to take Gandalf's staff he protested.
"You wouldn't part an old man from his walking stick?" He said as he gave the guards an innocent look. Me and Legolas exchanged a look and tried to hold back a smile.
"Yeah. If you take it away then he'll probably be on the floor in seconds." I said sympathetically.
Aragorn gave me a disappointing look. We were then let into the hall. I immediately griminced when I saw the king. He looked like he should be dead. His face was stark white and sagged down. His eyes were the part that freaked me out. They looked lifeless, like something sucked out all life and color from him. Then a ugly looking man leans over and whispers into the king's ear.
"The courtesy of your hall is somewhat lessened of late, Théoden King." Gandlaf says as we walk further into the room.
"Why should I welcome you, Gandalf?" The king says. The other man nods. And walks in front of the king.
"Late is the hour in which this conjurer chooses to appear. Láthspell spell I name him. Ill news is an ill guest." He says. As I see him closer, I almost gag. That hair is dripping with so much grease that we could make bacon.
"Be silent." Gandlaf snaps. I silently cheer him on. Yeah Gandalf! You tell him! " Keep your forked tongue behind your teeth. I have not passed through fire and death to bandy crooked words with a witless worm!" Gandlaf raises his staff.
"His staff!" The rat groans. " I told you to take the wizard's staff!"
The guards approach us as Gandalf seems to emit a white light. We fight the guards as Gandalf does his thing. But it was harder than expected because they took all of our weapons. So we had to fist fight them. My knuckles ached from the constant fighting. But the guards stop as they get distracted by Gandlaf.
