Might be stuck in school for the rest of my afterlife!

Chapter- 11

I  never suspected the famous murderer to be my principal! well not before this, he checks out all the boxes, secret underground bases, weapons, torture, bodyguards, and a very bad personality.  Just like that, he interrogated a lot of people and finally, it came to an end.

He opened his phone to check the time and it was 1 am, he went up the stairs leading back to the school, he fetched his car keys from his office and went to his car and drove away. I went to check on the secret underground base, but it was shut. I tried to go through the doors but I couldn't. Why am I stuck like this? 

I waited until school started, I couldn't fall asleep so instead I just recalled everything and tried finding out how to make sense of this. School finally started and I went over to Laura and Mr. Deron "Good Morning, I have something important to ask you" What is it then?" Mr. Deron replied, "How many secrets do this school and the principal have exactly and why can't I get through the secret door?" "Oh, we can't tell you that, it would count as helping you to solve your case but we can say that you can go through it only if the principal is inside," Laura said

"Alright, then how about this, why are we ghosts and how are we supposed to solve our cases if there's no one to help us?!" I said furiously "Well long ago, when the killing started, it was at least 52 years ago" Mr. Deron started "Some lunatic claimed to be a magician who traveled from another world seeking for a person of a pure heart. nobody took the magician seriously and instead opened a school  for the idiots with psychotic issues, not a mental hospital but a school where they pay you to kill people, and for 52 years nobody has found out because of the vast connections the owner had with the police department, fire department, etc, you get it right?"

" They kill in secret and each time a person has been killed in this school, nobody and I mean nobody was allowed to think of killing another, only until the next 5 years or so passes another person can kill  so that the people of today will forget about it and this school will live long, the magician cursed the school thinking that one day it will all come to an end" Laura finished

"what was the curse?" I asked, "The magician cursed that all the victims must turn into ghosts and try to solve the cases of their murder, but of course, there should be rules, he was a magician and this curse itself was enough to weaken his powers, so he set up the rules so that he could have enough magic to curse the killers, that they would die horrible deaths and that they would be forever tortured also about the door, the magician enchanted the walls of this entire building" "but is there any way to break the curse put on the victims?" I asked

"There are two ways" Laura started "You can either solve your case and get justice, which means the only one you save is yourself OR you can try to find out the reason behind why the school was made so you can save everyone here" Mr. Deron ended "What do you mean? Isn't it because of the magician?" "Well silly, the magician wanted to find a person with a pure heart, I know right, it's cliché but if you think about it, why was the school built? to spite the magician? it makes no sense."

I heard a familiar voice, it was the girl from the party! "Hi, I'm Macey," she said.
