Alfie screamed, he felt like his intestines were being shoved up his throat and back down, his vision was blacked out until a blinding light hit them. And then, Instead of being in the Yukon mid-winter, he was now in the taxi driving down a busy trafficked road. 'What? Where are we?' Alfie asked bewildered. 'Welcome to England, Alfie!' Drew said. 'Wait, we're in the U.K? We were just in Canada! I refuse to believe this.' He said. 'Do you believe I'm a second generation vampire?' Drucunwa asked honking at another driver. 'I don't know!' Alfie exclaimed throwing his arms in the air. 'But how did we travel like, to a whole new continent in a few seconds!?' 'It was a legate.' Drew said as if that cleared up everything. 'Well what are we doing here?' Alfie asked knowing she wouldn't explain legates. 'Dropping you off at my friends.' Drew said. 'He's gonna hold onto you for a while.' 'Sorry?' He asked. 'And how old is this kid?' Drew drummed her fingers on the steering wheel. 'Oh, about 19?' 'Your making a 19 year old kid babysit me, a 27 year old business man?' Alfie said, outraged. 'Well,' Drew said adjusting the rear view mirror to look at him. 'Would you rather me dump you on the side of the road and die?' She asked. Alfie slumped in his seat knowing this was not going anywhere. 'Wake me up when we get there.' He said repositioning himself. 'We are here.' Drew said slowing down. 'so wake up, Alf.' 'I never fell asleep, and don't call me Alf!' He said jumping out of the taxi. They stood in front of a small purple Victorian Style house. 'They like purple?' Alfie said. Drew walked up to the door and knocked. The door immediately flew open to reveal a smiling boy, who was very pale. 'Drucunwa! How's it going?' He asked, but his smile quickly faded once he saw Alfie. The boy walked in and motioned for the two others to follow. Alfie found himself in an even pinker living room. He looked at the boy who up close had skin like snow and purple eyes. 'Who are you?' Alfie asked the boy. 'I'm Adis, and you?' He said. 'Alfie Whitley, I assume you like purple?' Alfie said. Adis laughed 'your bloody right I do!' Alfie then noticed that Adis had a strong British accent. 'So,' Adis said turning back to Drew. 'What's up?' Drew replied in something Alfie could half understand. 'Sorry, could you repeat that?' He asked. 'Shut up Alf.' Drew said rolling her eyes. 'I told you not to call me that!' He protested. 'Well Alf, be good for Adis, I'll be back in a while.' She said and left, much to Alfie protesting. He turned back to Adis only for him to be walking out of the room. 'Wait were are you going? I have questions!' He said. 'And I have to let Twist know we have visitors so she won't kill you.' Adis said calmly. 'Make yourself at home, you can stay in the room upstairs on the left.' 'Who's Twist?' Alfie muttered as he walked upstairs.
