27th July 1973
Solana's bedroom was next to Narcissa's, so when she was woken up by a loud bang she jumped up running straight into her older sister's room.
"What was that?" Narcissa asked, sitting up in her bed.
The two girls flinched as they heard their fathers voice roaring downstairs.
"Cissy–" Solana began as Narcissa climbed out of her bed and walked towards the door.
"Shush, Lana," she whispered, walking out into the hallway, Solana followed behind her, leaning over the banister.
"Please father, I–"
"YOU LET THAT FILTHY MUDBLOOD COERCE YOU, ANDROMEDA!"
"It's not like that– I love him–"
There was a sharp slap, then stunned silence.
"I will not have you tarnish the family name for a filthy mudblood!" Cygnus roared.
"Then I will leave," Andromeda whispered.
"If you leave this house then you are no longer my daughter–"
There was a sniff from their older sister, she walked out of the drawing room and ran upstairs, rushing past the two girls, her cheeks were tearstained and one side had grown redder than the other.
"Andromeda! Andromeda!" Cygnus yelled running after her, his wand raised.
Solana pushed past her father, stopping next to her bed, watching as she packed a trunk. "Andy, where are you going?"
Andromeda paused, her eyes glassed over as she stroked her sister's hair, "I'm going away, for a bit, but when you're older, you're going to see me again,"
"Andromeda! Stop! I forbid you!" his wand was still raised at her.
She looked at him "Go on, I know you're dying to use the curse on me. Do it in front of them–" she nodded at her sisters.
"You are making a mistake–"
"No I am not! This family is fucked." Andromeda cried, "I want a normal life! With Ted!" she grabbed her trunk, attempting to leave but Cygnus grabbed her wrist.
"You are not leaving this house!" he spat, throwing her to the ground. "CRUCIO!"
Solana winced as Andromeda's scream echoed around the room, she was sure her mother could hear the commotion, but she didn't seem to be coming to stop her husband.
"I'm Pregnant!" Andromeda shouted when she caught her breath, tears streaming down her face, as her father stood over her. "I'm pregnant," she breathed out.
Cygnus stood frozen in his place, staring at her, she managed to sliver herself up to her feet, leaving all her belongings where they were and ran out of the room. Solana heard a crack signifying that her sister was gone.
"Father–" she began, but Cygnus' eyes flashed red.
Solana would never remember what actually happened that night, all she could was her screams that would haunt her even to this day.

24th January 1978
Solana gasped awake in a sweat, the bed sheets stuck to her like a second skin. She hated having nightmares about the time Andromeda left. As she caught her breath she looked over to where Antonin should have been but he wasn't beside her.
She furrowed her brows and climbed out of her bed, walking towards the window to open it, letting the cold breeze flow through the dorm, the smell of the cold air made a difference from the stuffy boys dorm, no matter how much she charmed it to smell nice the sweat and smell of man seemed to always linger.
She stared up at the full moon as the door opened and Antonin walked in quietly, he almost jumped when he saw Solana by the window.
"What are you doing awake?" he asked.
"Nightmare," she tilted her head. "What were you doing?"
"I went for a walk, I couldn't sleep, also Crouch's snoring doesn't really help," Antonin said, walking towards her, she noticed his forehead sweat glistened in the moonlight.
"You're sweating,"
"Went for a light jog..." he breathed, beginning to suck on her neck.
"Everyone is asleep, Toni," she muttered, but he continued.
"That just means you'll have to be quiet, isn't it." he whispered, lacing his hands around her waist.
"Toni–"
He pulled away from her, annoyed. "Let me guess, you're tired."
Solana let out a small sigh as he took off his shirt to get ready for bed, she walked towards him, standing on her tiptoes to kiss just under his collar bone.
"I'm sorry," she said, "I'm not that tired."
Antonin didn't say anything before he pushed her onto the bed, now she wished she never even said anything.

25th January 1978
Solana woke up early that morning, she hadn't brought her uniform from her dorm so she left Antonin snoring away in his bed. She entered the girls dorm which she shared with Alecto, Dorcas Meadowes, Henrietta Mcnair and Octavia Goyle, and saw that Alecto was already awake also getting ready.
"Morning," Solana said, smiling at her.
Alecto gave her a small smile, "Morning," as she tied her hair up in a ponytail Solana noticed a purple love bite on the side of her neck.
"Who are you seeing?" Solana chuckled.
"Huh?" Alecto furrowed her brows looking over at her.
"Your neck, you've got a little something."
Alecto looked closer at her mirror. "Shit, I told him not to do that–" she began vigorously rubbing at the bruise.
"So you are seeing someone," Solana raised her brows.
"Uhh, yeah." she said, grabbing her makeup bag.
"You gonna tell me who?"
Alecto paused, before shaking her head. "Some boy that works at the Three Broomsticks, been seeing him since... you know... Barty."
Solana nodded as she grabbed her clothes from her cupboard. "It's good that your moving on though, I'm happy for you,"
Alecto smiled softly. "Thanks, Lana."
"No worries," she said, heading into the bathroom, she turned the shower open, looking at her reflection as she waited for the water to turn warm. Her brows furrowed as she walked closer to the mirror, touching her neck.
She seemed to have a love bite in the same place as Alecto, it was the place that Antonin always kissed her, a small pit of worry entered her stomach but she elected to ignore it because that was a stupid thought.
