26th March 1978
By the time Solana had woken up that morning she had already missed Potions and Herbology.
She brushed through the knots in her hair with the little strength she had woken up with, staring at her reflection in the mirror, the bags under her eyes looked bruised and purple. She touched them delicately, chewing the inside of her cheek.
When she was younger Bellatrix had taught her a spell to get rid of them, but she had no idea how long Antonin would keep a hold of her wand. So she rummaged through Octavia's make up bag. She stared at herself satisfied with the cover up. She changed into her uniform, the urge to fall back into bed was consistent but her stomach growled loudly, so she had to get something to eat.
She left the dorm, Antonin was most likely at Quidditch practice this lunch time, she was sure he told her that, but she couldn't remember. She walked down to the Great Hall, the constant chatter from other students irritated her. She pushed through a group of Hufflepuff's who took up the entire corridor.
"You can say excuse me!" one of them shouted at her but she just rolled her eyes.
Walk fucking faster then!
She wanted to shout back but she didn't, she rounded the corner, her eyes met the caramel brown eyes she had seen two nights ago.
Remus stared at her.
She stared back.
Neither of them spoke.
So Solana walked past him with her head down.
She could feel his eyes on the back of her head but she didn't stop. She had no idea what to say to him.
She sat down on the table, staring at the food. Despite the copious amounts in front of her, suddenly she wasn't hungry anymore.

Solana watched as groups of friends met up in the courtyard, hugging one another like they hadn't just seen each other at lunch. Couples walking hand in hand, best friends laughing together at an inside joke.
She wondered if her days had always been so lonely.
When it started raining Solana grabbed her bag and headed towards the green house, the smell of wet moss filled the air. She was quiet as she opened the door checking for Professor Sprout, luckily she wasn't there, she was still quiet as she entered, heading over to the desk.
"Miss Black?" a voice startled her.
"Professor Sprout!" she exclaimed, jumping up, she saw the Herbology teacher walk in covered in mud as usual.
"What are you doing?" she asked, her eyes narrowed.
"I– I–" she stammered. "I wanted to apologise for not turning up the class this morning,"
