(Maisie's pov)
It was a beautiful morning, and i was in the kitchen making a tea for me and Maddie. I picked both the teas up and headed to the living room to place mine down. Selma followed me down the hallway. I was just about to push the door open, but I put a cup on the floor and uttered "Leave it" to Selma, I pulled out my phone and texted Maddie 'Bringing Tea up now' I picked up the tea on the floor saying "good girl Selma." I pushed the living room door open with my foot and placed my tea down on the end table when I glanced into the room. Everyone was sitting there. "Happy Birthday Maisie!" I laughed
"For fuck sake, I told you guys not to get me anything" I joked as I saw two small wrapped gifts on the coffee table. I put down Maddie's tea and pushed it towards her with my fingers and sat down cross legged. "Well open them then!" Said Mila. Atti pushed forward a small package as Selma laid down next to me. I picked it up and unwrapped it. I was confused. They were like coat hooks but not for coats. I opened the larger gift and inside was a cardboard box I picked up scissors from the table and dug into the box. There was a leaflet on top of what looked like pieces of a metal gate. I read the leaflet carefully, 'how to build your new dog crate!' I smiled as the door bell rung surprising me a bit. "That will be your last present!" Said Wilbur jumping up and walking out the room. "What are the coat hook things for?" I asked.
"I think this next present will explain!" Said Maddie with a grin. Will came back in with a package wrapped in grey plastic. He placed it in front of me and sat down petting Selma. I picked up the parcel and tore it open. There was a light blue dog vest I lifted it up and underneath was an array of coloured Velcro patches. I looked up and smiled. Who's idea was this. Will raised his hand and told me that the others helped with ideas too. I thanked everyone and Mila and Atti offered to make pancakes for everyone.
Every one was in the kitchen watch Mila make the pancakes. I grabbed a bag of food and filled up Selma's bowl. I took the other bowl and filled it up with water. "OK!" I said while looking at Selma. She made her way to the bowl and started eating.

Atti dished up the pancakes and placed topping on the table. Everyone helped theirselves to the food. I ate mine and got up from the table to load the dishwasher. Wil asked me if I wanted to go ice-skating and have lunch out. Which I replied yes to. I took my gifts into my room so I could decorate Selma's new vest. I was in my room sticking different patched on the vest and seeing which ones looked the best together. I finally decided on an idea which looked like this:

I slipped the vest around Selma's head and did up the clips. She yipped in excitement letting me know she liked it. I clipped her leash to the back and ran the thick, silky rope through my hands (Don't even go there with your dirty ass mind lol!) "Lass uns gehen!" I said gesturing to the door for Selma she ran out of my room and down the stairs. I shut my bedroom door behind me and followed Selma. Maddie was stood in the stairwell on her phone. "Where you going?" She asked. "I need to walk Selma and I'm gonna get a costa. You wanna come?" I said. "Yeah, why not." She replied. I walked out the door. While Maddie told the others that we were going on a walk. She stepped outside and locked the door. We ran to the park in the snow. I threw Selma a ball and she ran after it and caught it in her mouth before it hit the floor. She made a quick U-turn and bounded back towards us. We played with Selma and took photos in the snow.

We were heading to Costa together when my phone pinged. I checked my notifications, 'Twitch: Philza is streaming!' It made me think about how I haven't streamed in at least a week. I turned to Maddie. "Wanna come on my stream later? I'm planning to play a chill Mario kart tournament." She smiled and Agreed to join. We got to Costa and were standing in line to order. We got closer to the front till and I started to worry about asking for the order, I started fidgeting I dropped my hands down by my sides to try to stop myself. I snapped my fingers in between my knees and Selma wet into a central heel. She looked up at me and nudged my hand with her nose calming me down. It was finally our turn to order and I asked for a black forest hot chocolate, Maddie asked for a white hot chocolate. We went to sit down after the drinks were done. I took Selma's foldable water bowl out of my bag and filled it up with a water bottle. "OK!" I said, she started drinking the water and I sat on the chair and started to drink the hot chocolate. I opened my phone and texted the group 'Hey guys! doing a Mario Kart stream later, Anyone wanna join? Everyone replied with yes. I smiled and sipped my drink. I noticed there were crumbs under the table next to us. Selma was intently staring at them "Leave it." I said, Selma snapped her head back and focused on me.

As we were leaving costa a small girl about 10 approached. "Can I pet your dog?" She asked. I told her she could and thanked her for asking. Her mother appeared around the corner and pulled her child away. "Natalie, you need to ask before you pet dogs ok!" She turned to me and continued ,"I'm so sorry for this she knows better!"

"She did ask me and I told her it was ok!" I told the mother while her daughter went back to petting Selma again.
