War Beast (A Warframe x LoL Story)

Stepping out of the room and into the hallway was like stepping into a class room when you're like 7 minutes late, well that's it felt like, maybe like 2 people looked at you (with yo sexy ass) and met up with Caitlyn and Vi to your left.

"You ready ?" Vi enquires

"Yeah I'm good, let's go." You reply

With your group embark on your journey to the presumed exit of the hospital, giving the opportunity to familiarise yourself with your enhanced senses, hearing the hustle and bustle and smelling chemicals,hormones and food. Your stomach grumbles when get the smell of bacon, egg and tomato sauce, so you ask the one that most likely has money "Hey can we get something to eat ?, ya girl is feening for some food." Caitlyn raises a brow at your request.

"Feening ?" She questions for valid reason.

"Oh it means you want something badly, like I'm feening for a burger right now !" you inwardly exclaim, to be fair you haven't had one in a while.

"Yes of course, you must be famished after being knocked out for a day plus Vi knows a good place for those." Caitlyn mentions as she hands the keys to a vehicle. "Aw man I drove here though :( ." Vi says dejectedly as she takes the keys anyway. "They look like car keys." you think to yourself, last time you interacted with LoL lore you there was only that prototype mentioned a journal entry, will the cars in Runeterra be similar to the ones on Earth ?

You exit the building and are met with the stunning scenery of rustic browns, whites and silvers. Piltover, the steampunk area of Runeterra, with towering buildings, pipes literally everywhere and the occasional flying vehicle. All of this was complemented by the clear blue sky of the afternoon, now that you think about, Piltover looks like the Dishonoured Series and Paris mixed together.

"Y/N over here !" Vi calls out to you.
"My bad, got distracted !" you call out to her

Catching up to the duo, you see Vi fiddling with the keys for a small remote, and like you expected unlocks the "car", kinda looks like a jeep...with no wheels ? Vi opens the door to the back seats like a gentlewoman and you hop into the vehicle getting comfortable and fastening your seatbelt.

Vi enters the drivers seats with Caitlyn already in the passenger seat like the princess she is, "Have you ever been in one of these before ?" Caitlyn asks
"Not this thing specifically but something super similar, might take a bit for my nervous system to get used to it." You reply back earning a laugh from your two saviours. Vi inserts the key into the ignition and turns it making the car thrum to life, looking to the front you see a standard car dash board. After letting it do it's thing, you feel the car start to float in place before rising to a safe altitude, the vehicle takes off.

Y/N POV:
I'm no stranger to flying before, I've travelled abroad to different countries for holidays with my family but be flying with so much freedom is such a...surreal feeling, there's butterflies in my stomach obviously but it only makes me giddy. The scenery from the ground has got nothing on this,
you can see people going about they're day and businesses going through the motions, all sharing one moment. Cliche as it may but everything looks like a music video with how picturesque Piltover is a whole, could probably make a hard album cover too if I had a selfie stick.

But now isn't the time for that, I need to evaluate my situation since at this point I'm 100% sure I'm in Runeterra and I know enough to make my way around it. I have an ability that makes things float as far as I know. I was sucked into a wormhole that brought me to Piltover and got K.O'd by Vi (bars), woke up and got interrogated by them, even if they were chill about it. Realise I'm Vastayan. Have an existential crisis because of the possibility of never seeing my friends and family again...

"How you doing back there ?" And am currently in a flying car hoping to get some food down my gullet.
"I'm fine, just thinking about everything." I say truthfully, "Thought so, you were zoning out a solid 10 minutes." Vi quips casually, always been the type to read you emotionally. You laugh to yourself about it, how couldn't you really ?

"So what do you guys actually do for work ? Caitlyn said she's a Sheriff."

POV End

And so began the pleasant back and forth of the trio, Vi and Caitlyn getting to know Y/N like what motivates her, her favourite foods and favourite childhood memories and Y/N getting to know the partners on a deeper level than she was expecting-how they met, how Vi is actually from Zaun and how Caitlyn learned that not all Zaunites are bad, overall a calm but thoughtful vibe.

Before you realised, you were already at the destination, the sky flickering a orange now. Vi parks the car nearby to a place Daisies Grill and BBQ, "Aren't they the same thing ?" you tilt your head at the sign, "Barbecue is slow cooking, Grilling is quicker." Caitlyn interjects and enters the establishment, the rest following closely.

They're greeted by a waiter that's taken aback by the appearance of the top dogs of Piltover, he then sets his eyes on you and...blushed ? Vastayans are rare especially in Piltover but are you really that attractive ? Well the handful of eyes are a testament of that. The waiter brings you to a booth and gets you seated, you sitting across from the couple and decide what to eat. The trio order their food and make idle conversations to pass the time. Then the food comes, and by god does it look scrumptious
even if you all got the same thing for simplicity.

The moment the plate hit the table, you blitzed your meal like a wolf ravaging it's prey, tail thumping happily against the seat. The partners mouths hang open in mild horror after seeing you inhale your meal, it was only there for 4 seconds !

"GodDAMN this is good !" You shout to yourself.
"My goodness Y/N have some class !" Caitlyn chastises you.
"I mean to be fair it's been a long day for her !" Vi laughs out her sentence.

An hour passes and you're headed back for the car, admiring the sky in its dark blue haze, "Our place is probably like 15 minutes away from here." Vi informs you.

Gonna be a good ride now that you're full.
