Nicks POV

I open my eyes slightly to the movie still playing and Charlie asleep on my stomach. I glance over at the time and read the clock 12:47am

My whole body jumps, so much that I wake Charlie "what's wrong" he asks sitting up rubbing his eyes god he's so cute

"I fell asleep my moms gonna kill me"

"I'm sure it's okay, what time is it?"

"12:47"

"WHAT" he screams

I reach over and grab my phone and see no missed calls or texts..

"My mom hasn't called me"

Charlie pulls his phone out of his pocket and sees texts from his mom

'Nicks mom called to say she has to run out of town for work till tomorrow night and asked if he could stay here. I gladly accepted. I know you're both sleeping I came to check on you to tell you to sleep in different rooms but you too are harmless...sleep well and keep the door open. Love you ❤️'

"Charlie what's going on!"

The curly haired boy looks up at me with a smile "it's okay, everything is okay breathe"

I took a deep breath

"Your Mom had to run out of town unexpectedly for work and asked if you could stay here"

"Oh thank god, I thought something bad had happened"

"Everything's fine Nick, lets go back to sleep"

"But wait we're allowed to sleep in the same bed?"

"My mom said she came up to tell us to sleep in different rooms but we were already sleeping and she didn't want to disturb us"

"That's nice of her"

"Yeah, it is"

"So this is officially our first ever sleepover"

"I guess so"

"What shall we do" I said

"Uh nothing it's almost 1 in the morning we need to sleep"

Charlie closes the laptop and moves it to the end of the bed. He lays back down on my stomach and wraps his arm around me

God he is just perfect

"You're going to sleep in jeans" I asked

"Shh"

"Did you just shush me"

"Shhh"

I laugh a little knowing I'm annoying him

"Nick"

"Yes"

"Please go to sleep"

"But it's our first sleepoverrr we have to do something"

"Like what, if we be to loud everyone will wake up"

"We can watch a movie"

"We already did that"

"We can play a broad game"

"Nick. I'm tired can we please just sleep"

I let out a sigh and agreed

"Okay. We can sleep but you can't in that"

"What. Yes I can I'm so comfortable"

"So you say"

"Mhm" he mumbled

I move Charlie off of me and get up

"Nooo"

"Not so comfortable now are you"

He gasps 'offended'

"Change and then we lay down"

"Why do you hate me"

"If I hated you would I make you change so you can be comfortable"

"Ugh fine"

Charlie stood up and walked over to his closet. He stood there in silence not moving

"Charlie? Are you okay" I said walking over to him

"Hm, sorry I think I fell asleep"

"Awe" I wrap my arms around him and hold him in place "don't fall over"

"Can you pick out something for me"

"Sure go sit down" I pick out grey sweat pants and my green hoodie that he 'borrowed'

I walk over to Charlie and hand him the clothes

"Go change I'll be here"

"You need to change too"

"I'm fine"

"No, you're making me change so you have too as well"

"Okay then into what"

"In my closet there's a bunch of your clothes"

"What! How did you get my clothes"

"Magic" he said while closing the bathroom door

I change in his room while he changes in the bathroom.

Once he comes out I couldn't help but smile

"What?"

"You just look so adorable"

"Sure I do" he said getting into bed laying back down on me

"What do you mean by that" I ask

"Nothing let's just go to sleep"

"You don't think you're adorable"

"Ughh Nick please can we just talk about it tomorrow"

"Not until you agree with me"

"Okay fine yes I think I'm adorable"

"That didn't sound so sure"

"Ugh" Charlie sat up next to me and locked eyes with me "i believe you, I agree"

"That's better" he kissed me softly and I finally let him go to sleep
