Snow accidents

Charlie's POV

"Nick hurry up"

"I was getting your mittens"

"Very thoughtful but it's not that cold"

"Last time you got frostbite I'm not taking any chances"

I smile at Nick and put my hands out so he can put my mittens on. God he's beautiful

"Okay can we go now"

"Yes everyone is waiting for us at the park"

Me and Nick grab our sleds and start walking to the park. It's a lot colder then I thought it would be. "You were right, I did need these mittens"

"Yeahhh I'm always right"

"I wouldn't go that far"

We got to the park and everyone was already there

"Nick, Charlie!" Darcy yelled running towards us

She hugs us both as does everyone else in the group

"Okay who's ready to go sledding!"

Everyone screamed happily and we made it a contest; first one to get past the light pole at the bottom of the hill wins

"Ready. Set. GO!" Everyone pushed off and went flying down the hill Tao is in the lead but Nick catches up to him quickly. Issac isn't racing he's just enjoy life going at his own pace. Tara and Darcy are fighting for their lives trying to slow each other down.

I look ahead of me and see the pole uncomfortably close I try to steer away but fail miserably. God I'm gonna hit this

Last minute decision I lean over and throw myself out of the sled. Ugh the snow is hard and very painful. I roll down the hill and land on my back.

"CHARLIE" I hear multiple voices say. Everyone comes running towards me and they all hover over me

"Guys I'm fine"

"I would've done the same thing you definitely would've hit the pole" Issac said scanning me to make sure I wasn't hurt

"Does anything hurt" Nick said worried

"I think I hit my head a few times but nothing serious"

"Your head? Charlie you could have a concussion" Tao and Elle agreeing

I go to sit up and everyone helps me "guys I feel fine"

Tara and Darcy lift my arms to help me up and a sharp pain shoots through my shoulder all the way down my fingers "Ouch!"

"What, what's wrong" Tara asked fear covering her face "my arm it hurts"

Once I got sat up I took my jacket off and rolled up my sleeves "EW!" Darcy shouted "that's definitely broken"

"Oh my god I'm gonna pass out" I put my sleeve down and everyone is standing guard
