                                                                " Come back to me"

With tears lingering in my eyes and my heart and body aching, I flutter my eyes open. As my eyelashes hold the wet tears I spilled in my dreams.

A distant melody rings in my ears, As I sit in the sunny room as the sun peers in and lights the room in a fresh and awakened moment. With small dust particles floating in the air illuminating the room in gold.
Six beds sat in the room, Empty. With the blankets ruffled with the bed next to me. A melody continues to be hummed as small sniffles could be heard.

Something warm presses against my skin, As his voice, His song hums me back to life. He sits with his head on the bed and his hand gently holding mine. As his finger glides across my hands surface and his other arm sits supporting his head.

"They told me, You might not make it. They told me you might be taken from me. And I don't want that, I don't want to loose you and all the memories you have forgotten. Even so I will still love you, So please wake up and come back to me. Open those eyes and come back to me."
The golden room, The sun kissing his skin, His hair shining and appearing soft resting on his neck, His large and slightly calloused hands full of hard work, As his body lays relaxed leaned over desperately swallowing his tears down.
"Please Ralftila wake up, Come back to me princess."

He sat in the chair with his head still down not realizing I was awake and remembered it all. My heart still broken but remembering all these years it was him who stayed by my side. And it was him who dived off of that cliff and held me in his arms, Not even knowing if he would survive.
He looked beautiful, With his clean and relaxed trousers and his shirt button up to his neck as his collar kissed it. He had a slight mole on his neck on the side. Something I never noticed.

"Who are you?" I said trying to put on a straight face.
" Ralftilia?! Your awake!" He jolts his head up, swallowing his tears as his eyes broke in pieces.
"I'm... I'm so glad you okay." He says swallowing his voice down from cracking.
"How do you know me?" I said swallowing my smile, Trying my best to play the part.
" We were... Good friends in the past." He says letting go of my hand.

He suddenly stood to his feet, As his tall figure loomed over me. His heart broke into two with his eyes lingering with tears, almost appearing red. He clenched his jaw, and clenched his fist. All to soon look down at me again and soften his eyes that were stuck furrowing.
He softened his hands and his smile, Turning away from me smiling even harder.

" I'm just... so relieved you woke up." He mumbles placing his hand over his eyes trying to cover his tears that are urging to fall, But he was still the same little boy I met all those years ago. Swallowing his pain.
"I'll... I'll go get a doctor." He says swallowing his tears and sadness, Refusing to be sad at the lost of my memories.
I grasped his hand looking up to him.

I lift the covers off of me, As the long white night gown rests on my skin. I press my feet onto the wooden flooring that's glossed over. And softly looking up to him I smile.
"Thank you for staying with me all this time." I said as tears welled in my eyes.
"Don't mention it, Like I said we were once good friends." He says smiling gently back.

I let go of his hand, As he began to walk towards the door.
"Lucian." I say his name standing in the middle of the room. He halts with his hand on the door handle.
"What did you call me?"
" Or should I call you Elijah?" I said smiling brightly.
He slowly turns to me. With tears stringing from his eyelashes. He clenches his fist.
"Say it again."
"Elijah."
"Yea, I liked that name."
Just like all those years ago.
