Jungkook's POV
I toss around the bed and slowly rise up with a sleepy yawn. I can hear the faint voice of someone talking in the distance which gets me frowning with my eyes closed shut; too sleepy to wake up.
"Who the fuck came over so early in the morning like this~!?" Tiredly whining, I drag myself off the bed and walk out of my bedroom to find the voice. "Don't tell me it's mom again," Confirmed that the voice was coming from the kitchen, mom immediately popped up in my head as she always barges into my house without telling me that she is coming.
However, my feet stop in confusion when I see a figure of a man busily moving in the kitchen. With a frown, I pull myself together to fully wake up as I try to study the figure to remember who is he.
"Dang it! It's Jimin!" Reflectively smacks my own forehead at my own stupidity. "How can I not remember that I brought him home last night?!" Chuckling, feeling so dumb. It's too early in the morning for my brain to function properly after all.
"Mom~! I think I messed this up already~~~!" Jimin's whine has fully awakened me as I slowly register what is happening. I can see he's face-timing his mom while cooking something so I'm assuming he's preparing breakfast...?
"It's just a simple pajeon, mimi. How messed up it can be after all," Aunt Hyejin says with a hint of deadpan in her voice at his son panicking. "Just flip it over once you think it's cooked enough then it's good to go,"
"I don't know~! It doesn't look...okay to me," Jimin whines and I quietly take a seat at the table, observing him. "I can't believe I'm this suck..." He sighs disappointedly making me chuckle silently.
"That's why I said in the beginning to make pancakes but you insist on making pajeon. Now you're whining, whose fault is this?"
"Mom~~~! I told you there's no pancake batter here. And, I'm trying~! You can't bring me down like this..."
"Show me. Let me see what is so messed up about it,"
"It looks like a scrambled egg instead..."
"That's because you didn't put enough batter into the pan. You put so many ingredients in it but too little of the batter. That's why you mess it up when you flip it over. Put that aside and do it again,"
"I don't want to..." He says in a sulky tone and turns off the stove. "I quit. I'll just wait for hyung to wake up then we can order something for breakfast,"
"You said you are trying just now, you brat,"
"I'm quitting! Cooking is hard," He huffs. "I'm hanging up now. Take care, mom," He hangs up the call and quietly cleans everything up while sighing. Cutie.
"Aaa~ I'm hungry~ When will hyung wake up," Despite his whine, he has done cleaning and turns around only to slightly flinch as he finally notices my presence. "When did you come out?" His eyes go wide as he makes his way toward me.
"Quite some time ago," I say as he sits across me. "Long enough to see you messed up your pajeon," He deadpans at my teasing, making me chuckle loudly.
"Cut it. I'm starving right now. Let's order breakfast,"
"What time did you wake up?"
"Six. I couldn't sleep because I was so hungry so I woke up, freshened up, and even tried to do my assignments but I'm too hungry to function properly and now it's almost ten in the morning so stop teasing or asking, let's just eat now!" He raps out so fast which gets me burst into a loud laugh again.
"Hyung~! This is not funny! I need food right now to function,"
"Okay okay, I'm sorry. Let me freshen up first then we'll eat," He huffs irritatedly. "I'll be quick"
