Karina arms stretched above her while letting out a long sigh. It wasn't particularly hard for her to sleep but it was hard for her to get up. She walked outside of the tent letting the sun warm her.
"Morning princess." Bellamy was leaned against the drop ship with a stupid smirk plastered on his face. Karina just grumbled in response.
"We got Well's wristband, as long as we get Clarke's they will never come down." He spoke throwing the wristband that she assumed to be Wells's in her direction.
"How'd you get it?" She asked while catching it.
"Held him down." Karina oddly felt a twinge of dissatisfaction at this answer. Although she was very mad at him that didn't mean she liked the idea of him getting hurt.
Karina turned to walk inside of the drop ship to find some sort of food in the rations area. She was sat on a crate eating a mix of berries when she heard yelling outside.
Exiting the drop ship she saw Wells and Murphy going at it.
"At least make it a fair fight." Bellamy threw a pocket knife on the ground in front of Wells who quickly scrambled to pick it up. Karina quickly walked down to get in between the two but Bellamy's arm held her back.
She watched as they fought swinging the knifes at each other before Murphy managed to slice Well's arm. Wells then grabbed Murphy arm twisting it while sitting his knife against his throat.
"Wells!" That was one voice Karina was glad to hear. Clarke stepped out from the woods. "Let him go." She spoke walking closer to the boy.
Wells threw Murphy to the ground who then lunged forward.
"Enough." Bellamy now held Murphy back who wanted to beat the shit out of Wells.
"Where's the food?" Bellamy questioned after making sure his now limping sister was alright.
"We didn't make it to mount weather." Finn was now standing next to Clarke with fear written on his face.
"Well then what happened." Karina helped to hold Octavia up straight.
"We were attacked." Clarke spoke.
"By what?" Karina was now invested in this conversation as well.
"Turns out when the last man from the ground died on the Ark, he wasn't the last grounder." Finn looked over at Karina noting her and Bellamy's shocked expressions.
"Where's jasper?" Karina quickly asked Clarke after counting the people who came back.
"They took him." Karina's face instantly dropped, she wasn't one to show emotion but she's known Jasper for a long time.
"Well sounds like they aren't very friendly then." Karina spoke trying to lighten up her own mood. Karina took a deep breath in before quickly walking in the other direction into the woods. She definitely didn't want any other person to see her cry but she couldn't help it, she already felt the tears coming on.
Her back hit a tree as a sob escaped her mouth. She slid down the rough bark while muffling her sobs with her hand.
"Hey can I sit here." Karina looked up at Monty who was pointing to the ground next to her. He let out a deep sigh before putting his arm around her and rubbing her arm lightly. Monty and Jasper were like brothers to her and she couldn't bear to loose them.
"Well find him, Clarke is putting together a search party right now." Monty seemed to also be trying to comfort himself with these words.
"I want to go." Monty just nodded in agreement.
"I want to go too but Clarke won't let me because I'm to smart or some shit like that."
"Well it's a good thing I'm stupid then." Monty let out a little chuckle at Karina's remark.
"Come on let's go, I'm sure they will be leaving soon." Karina grabbed Monty's outstretched hand as she got up off the ground. They silently walked back to the drop ship seeing a small group of who they assumed to be the search party.
"Good I was going to ask you to come." Clarke smiled when she saw Karina walking up to the group. Bellamy eyed the sword that was tucked in her belt.
"Where did you get that from." He pointed towards Karina's belt.
"Found it in the woods." They continued to make small talk as they followed Clarke and Finn who were leading the group.
Karina had fallen behind the group talking to Finn who was now joining the search.
"As soon as you take this wristband off we can go." Bellamy's voice could be heard in the distance.
"Oh shit." Finn spoke picking up his pace with Karina behind him.
"You call this a rescue party?" Finn and Karina walked up to the very tense scene.
"Gotta split up cover more ground." He grabbed Clarke's arm pulling her away from the situation. Bellamy gave Murphy a look before Murphy spoke.
"Let's go Chancellor of Earth, promise I won't try to kill you this time." Murphy and Wells walked off in another direction.
"Looks like it's you and me princess." Bellamy spoke with a playful tone . Karina just rolled her eyes before walking ahead crunching some leaves under her feet in the process.
"So why don't you want the rest of the ark to come down?" Karina was genuinely curious for his reasoning.
"I did something, something bad." Not being satisfied with his vague answer she pressed on further.
"We all did that's why we are down here." He chuckled lightly at her smart ass comment.
"What did you do to get locked up." Bellamy was now the one asking the questions. Karina had tensed slightly hearing this question.
"I did something- something bad." She tried her best to imitate Bellamy's low voice. He snorted in response to her terrible imitation.
"Did you just snort." Karina smiled in his direction slightly.
"No." He quickly replied turning his face in the other direction. "Look there's a river." He pointed at the River that was only a few hundred feet away. He quickly pulled his shirt off before getting in the water. Karina defiantly did not miss sneaking a peak at his tones torso before he went shoulder deep in it.
"Come on loosen up a bit." He spoke to which Karina scoffed before also taking her shirt off. Considering she only had one she she was not about to get it wet. Bellamy's eyes lingered on her for a minute before he cleared his throat.
"The water does feel nice." Karina tried to justify her coming in after him. "But we can only stay in for a minute, we need to find Jasper." Bellamy could sense the urgency in her voice. He could tell that she really cared about Jasper.
"Hey we will find him." Bellamy tried his best to reassure the nervous girl.
