—jiwon can't believe gyuri dislikes pepperoni because who doesn't like them?

gyulwon but gyuri's still in the group ;D (i miss her) jiwon apparently doesn't know her that well ;0; but, they're still cute & gyuri isn't anywhere near offended, just giggly

-

The couple walked hand in hand into the small pizza place, Gyuri letting Jiwon order for them while she found a spot to sit.

She quickly returned to the younger after placing her jacket down at an open table and led them to it.

It didn't take long for their food to be finished and Gyuri left to retrieve them, mentally grimacing at her girlfriend's choice of pizza.

She wouldn't tell her it irked her though, seeing the way Jiwon smile at her as she walked back to their spot made her heart happy. So, she just sat down and gave the other her plate before slotting herself in the chair across.

Jiwon watched as Gyuri began peeling off the pepperonis from her pizza slice, placing them beside the piece and onto the plate.

"Don't tell me you don't like pepperoni.." She mumbled, eyes wide in shock.

The older looked up with furrowed brows and a small pout. She looked at her plate then back to Jiwon, who was still staring in silence.

"Uhh, no. You didn't know?"

The younger suddenly let out the loudest gasp possible and backed away in her seat, "No way. There's no possible way you do!"

Gyuri just chuckled and shook her head at the reaction. "We've been dating for how long now Jiwon? How didn't you notice?"

"I don't know, probably because we've never gotten pizza together! When have I seen you eat pizza?"

It was now the older's turn to feel offended as her smile faltered and she gasped, trying to be just as dramatic as her lover: "Fifth date, second to last before we made it official. We went to that Italian restaurant near home. Didn't you see what I ordered?"

Jiwon blinked once, then twice. She was still in awe at the newfound information and began turning the gears in her head, trying to recall the day.

It was distant memory.

A good day for the both of them really; just friends who were aware of their feelings for each other, going on a date.

"Let me help you," Gyuri smiled smugly, pleased to see the horrified look on the younger's face. "You got a meat lovers and I got a cheesy stuffed bread. You offered me some of your slice but I said I didn't like meat on my pizza."

"Wow, I guess I wasn't paying attention.." Jiwon suddenly let her face drop and looked away.

She felt slightly guilty about the idea of not being attentive with the older's likes and dislikes.

Gyuri was always aware of what she didn't enjoy and what she preferred when it came to all sorts of things even before they started dating.

It was only now that she realized how less she had been paying attention in comparison to the older.

"It's okay to not remember love. I don't mind and in your defense, you were hungry that day." Gyrui humored, reaching over for Jiwon's hand to hold.

"Does this make me a bad girlfriend?" The bad thoughts clouded her mind and doubts about their relationship began filling inside.

The older quickly dismissed them and immediately shook her head, "Of course not love. Not remembering something about your lover isn't the end of the world. It's part of the learning and experience. We're only a few months in and there's plenty of time for us to get to know each other more. There's no rush whatsoever so don't hurt yourself too much about this, okay?"

Jiwon felt Gyuri's thumb against the back of her hand, caressing it gently as her words came out, her eyes watching her with adoration.

There were a few passing seconds of silence but Gyuri didn't mind. She just continued to eye the girl and hold her hand.

Shifting awkwardly in her spot, Jiwon cleared her throat and avoided the older's eyes, sitting up and barely glancing at her plate.

"Could I have your pepperonis?"

Gyuri just snorted quietly and nodded, placing the small slices on Jiwon's plate.

Things were fine after, Jiwon making her lover promise to try the beloved meat at least once and Gyuri vowing to always give her the pepperonis of her pizza wherever they went.

Gyuri still didn't like pepperoni but if tasting it would make Jiwon happy, she supposed it wouldn't kill her to try.

—End.
