" If I am falling, will you be there to catch me and embrace me in your arms?"

" This is the place where..."

Three days later
[The wedding day]

A tiny munchkin dapperly dressed in a suit was jumping on the podium joyously by his father's side. His father who looked ethereal in the wedding attire, the colour of which matched his son's outfit, was in a daze, attempting to discern the righteousness of his decision to disclose the truth which wavered your agreement to this marriage.

But you agreed and didn't step back.

Soon, the church's door opened revealing a gorgeous bride.

" Momma..." the little bean betrayed his father, scurrying to move by his mother's side. Your dull face glowed at the call of your son. Draping his small palm around your pointer finger, he seemed to be walking you down the aisle.

" I am trusting my precious one to you. I hope you both will take care of each other well," your father remarked, passing your hand in the groom's large ones.

" I will," he affirmed.

Helping you climb up the podium, you two stood facing each other. You glanced at the person who is going to be titled as yours in few minutes. His hazel orbs were fixated at you but you could perceive he was zoned out. Soon, the priest began the customs which weren't foreign to you.

You have been in this place before but last time, it was consented bargain and this time, a forced one.

The consented one damaged you

and

you cannot expect anything from the present one which is a mere compromise.

You were brought out of your flashback when a couple of words which hold a sacred significance were uttered by your groom " I do"

Next, came your turn.

It took ounces of your inner strength to state the two worded assertion which brought nothing but miseries the last time.

But you did.

" Momma..." your little being chimed, his chubby hands holding two velvet boxes. Giving him a smile, you grabbed the sparkling piece of metal.

Your trembling fingers unknowingly pressing it way too hard. The shopping for these gleaming diamonds went down the hill when a flabbergasting truth was unfurled that night.

Waiving the reminiscence off your mind, you felt your left hand being enclosed in a manly one and the cold metal was slipped on your ring finger.

The last exchange was catastrophic.

Repeating the action, you heard the sentence you didn't longed to listen.

" The groom may kiss the bride."

The next moment, the male closed the proximity, his tall figure hovering over yours. His hot breath lingered on your forehead for a minute, soon replaced by his soft petals.

But it was just a delicate brush and the male retreated back. You felt a wave of relief passing over you until your son's demand rang in your ears.

" Is appa not going to kiss momma here?" he frowned, his small finger pointing at his lips.
