His Weakness

As she felt herself slipping back to consciousness, Celestina managed to slowly open her eyes. The sudden ray of lights sting her eyes, she closed them back. Carefully she opened her eyes again. Seeing white walls with white curtained windows, questions kept flooding her mind. Where was she? What happened? Where is her little friend? Suddenly the door opened and a man on his early 30s came inside. He smiled when he saw her awake. Slowly he approached her bed.
" Hi, I'm Dr. Saunders." He introduced himself.
"I'm Celestina, where am I doctor?" she asked him directly.
"You are at our community hospital, our leaders found you in the woods. You were hurt badly." the doctor answered politely.
"You were unconscious for almost 8 hours." he added.
Celestina gasped, 8 hours is seriously long. She tried moving but the pain in her head and ribs are stopping her from doing so. She winced in pain as she tried to feel the bandage in her head.
"You had a concussion. You might have hit your head on stone or a tree trunk. Your ribs are broken. You will be in pain for approximately 3 more days.." the doctor informed her further.
"Wait, where is the little wolf that i was holding? It's color is brown, you have rescued it as well right?" panic rising through her when she remembered her little friend.
The door burst open and Benjamin came in with a man much older than him. Though they seem to look alike.
" Cece! I'm so glad you're awake. How are you feeling?" Benjamin asked his friend as he settled beside her.
"Ben! Why are you here? How did you know I'm here?" she asked him back.
"Cece this is our community, remember when I told you that I live in a place where people treat each other as a big family? This is it Cece. This is our community. And you are in our community hospital." Ben said seriously.
"Right! Are you the one who found me in the woods?" She continued asking.
"Yes Cece, my father." Ben gestured for his father to come closer. "This is my father Bradley Simons, we found you in the woods. We were out searching for my baby sister when we heard someone scream." Ben glanced at his friend. Celestina was trying to recall what happened. Flashes of wolves jumping on air to hit her came to her memory.
"God! There were wolves, very huge wolves. They jumped on me Ben! They wanted to take my little friend away. They attacked me because i refused to give them my little friend." Celestina had tears running down her cheeks.
"Where is it Ben? Where is my little wolf? I made a promise to it that I would return it safely to its family. Please tell me, my little friend is safe Ben?" She continued.
" It's fine Cece. In fact you  had it returned to its family safely." Ben smiled looking at his father who had a look of appreciation on his face.
" How about your sister Ben? Have you found her already?" Celestina asked again. She never fails to amuse him. Celestina is the kind of friend who always wants her friends to be happy.
"Yes Cece, we have found her already. She's just resting now." Ben held his friend's hand..silently thanking her for saving his baby sister.
" Why don't you go back to rest young lady. You must rest enough to recover your strength." Ben's father interjected their conversation.  They left as soon as Celestina closed her eyes to gain more sleep.
