Chapter 6- The Bet

Hey y'all... So, I know it's been a long time but I'm back! Sorry I haven't updated in so kind I just haven't had inspiration and I've also been pretty busy with school. But I'm back now so let's get to it! Remember to comment!!!

Tobias' p.o.v. (Didn't expect that did ya?)
I looked up a Cassie and nodded. She led me and some of the other initiates out of the dining hall to the Cavern. It was bustling with people but I was slowly getting used to the chaos that was Dauntless headquarters. I had only been here one day but I had already made friends. I glanced over to Eric, a tough, clever initiate from Erudite, who I had already made friends with. We had decided to form an alliance because we both knew were the strongest of the non Dauntless-born initiates.

"Isn't she hot?" I whispered to him, referring to Cassie who was now leading us into the cavernous library.

"Hell yeah," Eric whispered back, only half paying attention to me.

I directed my attention back to Cassie who was at the front of the group. She was pretty but not my type. She seemed introverted, classy, and beautiful. I was more into loud, slutty girls cause they were easy. Even in Abnegation there were always some girls who would "accidentally" rip the hideous gray shirts in the middle to show some more cleavage. But those girls were just one night stands, Cassie and her type seemed more like wife material with their grace and classic beauty. I was just happy she wasn't one of those girls who dyed their hair and got belly button piercings just to look "different", I mean they looked edgy and awesome but sometimes they changed themselves for all the wrong reasons. You could find an abundance of them in Dauntless but Cassie seemed to be perfectly preserved.

"Alright guys! That's it for the tour. I wish you the best of luck for your training," Cassie said pulling me from my thoughts. I looked up confused and I realized we had returned to the dining hall and I had been so wrapped up in my head I didn't even pay attention to half the tour. I saw Cassie begin to walk if but I grabbed her hand before she could.

"Thanks for the tour. You were the best guide of I've ever had," I said winking and flashing her my most charming smile. She might not be what I usually go for but she's still super hot.

"No problem, f-feel free to stop by my room anytime. It's r-room 207," she replied stuttering and blushing. As I watched her hips sway as she walked off I thought to myself: damn, I would definitely hit that. (Fuckboy much?)

6 hours later
I fell into my bed exhausted from the 5 hours of training we just completed. We had started training in hand-to-hand combat and it was a lot more difficult than I thought. 1 initiate had already been let go cause they had refused to fight Jonathan, the burly Dauntless-born who clearly thought he was better than everyone else. The dormitory all the initiates were staying in was eerily quiet because everyone was down at the dining hall. I didn't have the energy to socialize with all of them so I had simply grabbed a sandwich and brought it back. I turned my head towards the door as I heard it open.

"Sup dude?" Eric asked as he bit into an apple.

"Nothing much," I replied, "training was brutal today." We settled into a comfortable silence as we got lost in our own thoughts. Cassie's face crossed my mind when I had a wonderful idea.

"Wanna play a game?" I asked Eric, abruptly sitting up.

"I guess," he responded barely glancing up from his book.

"The first one of us to get Cassie to sleep with him has to purposely lose when we fight each other in the final days of training," I said smirking a little.

"That's not really a game," Eric responded casually, "more of a challenge." I simply nodded waiting for a response from him. "Yeah I guess," he finally replied.

"But we both know I'm gonna win," he said grinning cockily. Oh Eric, if only he knew the tricks I have up my sleeve.

Sorry this took so long. I know it's a little short but I've just been procrastinating a lot lately. The next chapter will be up in 2 weeks or sooner. I promise!!! Answer to the last QOTD: I'm currently watching Psych. It's a really funny show that does have its intense moments. My favorite show of all time is Gossip Girl. I've watched all of it and one of my life goals is to live like Blair.
