It's the next morning after the festive activities. The morning sun shines on the white snow and makes it shine a little gold. The Louds and the rest of the guests spent the night in Rentable Rooms at the Pokemon Center previously rented by Lincoln and Rita.

The large group is about to enter the lobby of the Pokemon Center, where a large buffet has already been set up for breakfast. Many other people and Pokemon are already there and fill their stomachs with the delicious food. Albert meanwhile looks around.

Albert: Man, the Pokemon Centers have changed quite a bit since I was last there.

Lala: What do you mean, Pop-Pop?

Albert: Not everything was so technical back then, of course the machine for healing Pokemon already existed, but the rest was not so technical.

The group approaches the buffet and everyone grabs something to eat before sitting down at one of the tables. Lana doesn't focus on the food at all, but rather on all the Pokemon running around the Pokemon Center and playing with each other. She looks disappointed at her plate.

Lana: It's not fair... all these cool creatures and I can't have any of them.

Meanwhile, Albert is eating a pancake as he looks at the disappointed girl.

Albert: It's the rules Lana, maybe you can study for the trainer exam, then you can catch Pokemon.

Lana looks at Lynn Sr. with a pleading expression on her face.

Lana: Dad! Please!

Lynn Sr. shakes his head.

Lynn Sr.: Absolutely not, Lana! You're way too young for this.

Albert puts a hand on his chin when he hears this.

Albert: Not really.

Benny, who is just wiping his mouth with a napkin, looks at Albert questioningly.

Benny: What do you mean Albert?

Albert: Most children in the Pokemon Region start their Pokemon journeys by the age of ten.

Everyone at the table looks at Albert with wide open eyes and mouths when they hear that, they can't really process the shock of hearing that.

Bobby: So wait, let me get this straight. Ten-year-olds are allowed to go on a journey of how long with these creatures and are expected to do it on their own?

Albert: They are not alone, they have their Pokemon or, more often, friends with them. They can take care of each other, but their Pokedex also have an emergency signal in case something happened.

LorI: And the parents are okay with that?

Albert: From what I understand, these trips are more about character building for the kid and teaching them how to coexist with Pokemon. At least that's how it was for me back then.

He's drinking from a cup when suddenly an explosion is heard and the Pokemon Center begins to shake slightly. The group is quite startled, but most of the others seem to stay calm.

Lynn: What the heck was that?!

The group hears a sigh and see Nurse Joy walking towards the door with a white pink coat she is putting on.

Nurse Joy: Not again.

And with that, she disappears through the Pokemon Center's entrance and the group sees her walking to the side to the back of the Pokemon Center.
