On Monday I went to school with a really bad headache from being drunk the night before and having a hangover. I couldn't remember anything that happened, but I didn't care. It was better that way. From the way I felt I knew nothing good happened last night. Luke was the only one who knew about Skylar cheating on me. I didn't want to tell my mother or Michael and Ashton. I didn't want people asking questions and telling me what to do. It's my problem, not theirs.

I opened my locker and dropped my stuff into it. I just grabbed a notebook and pen and shoved it into my backpack before slamming my locker shut. Once I turned around my face met with Skylar's. She was smiling really big and looked very happy. It made me want to slap the smile off her face, but I just gave her a half smile before she started talking to me in a very cheery voice.

"I texted you 5 times yesterday and you never answered. I had to ask you about something. I'm glad I got to see you before class." I just looked away from her and rolled my eyes as we walked down the hallway. Skylar tried grabbing my hand, but I just pulled it away and slid my hands into the pocket on my black skinny jeans. I looked at her sad and curious face. I didn't feel bad at all. All I felt while I was walking next to her was sad, hurt, mad, and disappointed.

"My mom is letting me go up to the beach house this weekend with my friends and I wanted to go with you alone." As I listened to her talking my heart started pounding a hundred miles and got really nervous as I thought about what might happen. I didn't want anyone to know. I had a plan and I was going to stick with it. I was going to hurt Skylar as badly as she hurt me.

"Sure, I'd love to go." We finally got to my trigonometry class and I quickly kissed her on the cheek. I ran into the classroom before she could actually kiss me and sat down next to Michael. I saw Skylar wave at me from the hallway and I waved back. I turned to Michael and he instantly started talking.

"What happened to you and Luke at the party on Saturday?" He asked. I did really know what to say. I didn't want him to know the truth, so I had to think of a quick lie. I felt kind of nervous as he looked at me and waited for me to answer. The room felt like it was spinning as I tried answering him.

"I-I got b-bored and j-just left. Luke said he'd take me h-home and hang out with me. You know I don't like parties." He shook his head at me and started looking through his backpack for his homework as the teacher started to come around to collect it. I did the same and waited as the teacher took everyone's homework. We didn't talk much for the rest of the class since the teacher was talking the whole time and we had to take notes.

When the bell rang I quickly packed up my stuff and ran out of the classroom as fast as I could. I had to try to avoid Skylar the best I could. I heard Michael calling my name as he tried to get me to slow down so he could catch up with me. I finally stopped running and let Michael catch up with me. He noticed me looking around the hallway like I was a spy or something.

"You looking for someone?" He asked. I shook my head as I saw Skylar walking towards me. I grabbed Michael's hand and dragged him up the staircase to the second floor before she was able to see us. Michael raised an eyebrow at me as he looked confused.

"We have English class Luke." He stated. I just started walking away from him and he followed me.

"What are you doing?" He asked. I just continued walking and once we were by a door I opened it up and stepped outside. Michael followed and looked at me really confused.

"Let's skip class." I said. Michael put his hand on my shoulder and I looked back at him.

"What's wrong Calum?" He knew something was wrong. I never skipped class unless I had a reason so I had to think of a lie before he knew that I was actually lying. I quickly said the first thing that came to my mind.
