𑁍 𝙵𝚒𝚛𝚜𝚝 𝙳𝚊𝚢!! 𑁍

(This is my first story so please give me advice and your thoughts!! <3)

*First person pov*
*𝘉𝘌𝘌𝘗 𝘉𝘌𝘌𝘗 𝘉𝘌-* I shut off my alarm and groan "ugh I don't want to get up" it's my first day of school and i think it's going to be exactly like last year. Most people are excited or nervous on their first day but last year went pretty bad for me so I'm not too excited. Last year started off with my uncle passing away so I was grieving because I was pretty close with him and would always go on car rides blasting music just enjoying the ride around town. But it wasn't all bad I still had my best friends, Natalie and Mary! I've known Natalie Since kindergarten and she's always been there for me and I've known Mary since 4th Grade. We have been a Trio since 6th grade and we are all going into 10th grade but last year we all went to different schools. So I only seen them on the days I had free. Natalie was usually pretty free all the time but Mary was pretty into sports and hobbies so she was always busy. "I can probably get 5 more minu-" I was cut off by my mom "y/n it's 7:15 and breakfast is ready so get up or I'll eat your bacon!" So I jumped up yelling "don't you dare!" I run to my closet and grab my outfit I picked out which was a sweater, jeans, my converses, and the necklace my uncle got me.

I quickly threw it on and tied my shoes jumping up grabbing my headphones and phone running out my door. "Woah slow down going down those stairs we don't need you falling on your first day, monster" I chuckled at that nickname cause I haven't heard it in about 2 years. I rushed down the stairs putting my headphones around my neck and checked my phone and saw I didn't get any messages from my friends. "Hey who touched my bacon!" I glared at my parents waiting for a response "I said I would do it, just kidding hun here it is" my mom sets a fresh piece of bacon on my plate and sits down. "Phew thank you" I quickly ate my breakfast and rushed to the bathroom to get ready and got a message from Mary "HAVE A GOOD DAYYYYY!!!!" I smiled and texted her back while brushing my hair "lol you too Mare I love youuu!!" I looked in the mirror "Hey mom I think it's time to cut my hair again!" I have brown hair a bit past my shoulders. Normally I have hair about halfway to my neck but I want to get a wolf cut and change it up. "You think so? Okay I'll figure something out." I tell her okay and brush my teeth and then do my makeup. Im not the type to wear a lot of makeup I usually just use highlight, eyeliner, and Mascara while I was doing my makeup I was looking at my face to see if I needed to do anything I have blue-ish green-ish eyes and freckles. I walk out the bathroom and grab my bag and head to the door "bye hun have a good first day!" I went to open the door but realized "I forgot to say bye to Rose!" I turned around to see her in the living room laying down "Rosie girl come here!" I yelled and she looked at me and jumped up running to me "bye my pretty girl I'll see you in a little bit be a good girl while I'm gone okay?" I pet her then kiss her head and run to the bus stop. I look down the road to see the bus coming down the road "already?!" I run to the stop almost missing the bus and get on and look around for somebody I know. "Not a single person, really?" I mumbled to myself sitting down in a empty seat in the 3rd row. The bus was exactly the same as it was every year. The front was all the quieter kids, the middle was the popular kids and the back was the trouble makers and couples. I quickly put on my headphones and listened to my "𝙳𝚘 𝚗𝚘𝚝 𝚍𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚛𝚋" playlist which was me and Natalie's favorite. Speaking of Natalie I felt my phone buzz in my hand and seen a message from her saying "just woke up have a good day tell me how it goes!" I open the message and respond "thanks but wym just woke up? U not going to school?" She says "Uhm I'm only going if my mom realizes I'm home" I chuckle and roll my eyes cause of course, classic Natalie. I feel the bus stop so I message her back "K I gtg love uu!!" And look to see who gets on. It's a new kid and he seems shy so I offer him to sit next to me and he slowly sits and slightly smiles at me. I smile back and turn my music down so I can hear if he says anything and he holds out his hand and says "hi I'm Alex thanks for letting me sit with you" he speaks softly as if he only wants me to hear him. Definitely shy so I shake his hand "y/n and your welcome I'm guessing your new?" He lets go of my hand and looks down. "Yeah- well sorta, I was here last year for 2 weeks and then switched to a different school." He looks back up so I look at him curiously "really I don't think I remember you?" " he laughs quietly and smiles "yeah I didn't really talk to anyone and was just really quiet in general. I had no friends and knew from the start I wouldn't be there long so I didn't try to."  I have a lot of questions but I only want to ask a few so I start with "why did you switch?" He looks back down and doesn't smile "uhm. My parents move a lot so I've never really stayed at a school for longer than a year. Which is why I never try to make friends but this time my parents said I had to go here and I'm finishing school here so I guess I'm gonna try to talk to some people for once" he laughs and continues to look down until I start talking " wow I'm so sorry that must have been rough." He smiles at me and I look at his eyes. He has light blue eyes and dark brown curly hair that fades to a lighter brown at the tips. I jump at the buzz of my phone and we look down at my phone, it's a text from Natalie "Love u too!!" I smile and heart the message.
