Emily went down with Ashton, walking behind him. Though she was pissed but she does know that it is her fault. Well, it is true, rolling your eyes in front of your parents is disrespectful, especially for an all-goody-goody good girl like Emily. Maybe they just weren't used to me yet, she thought.
She walked towards Calum in the kitchen, who sat on the kitchen counter, looking distressed, head in his hands. Of course, Cal would never really mind that she rolled her eyes, but he was just pissed off becaude he lost a FIFA match with her, and the night before where Michael actually told her that his nudes got leaked on Snapchat. Calum just loved his own daughter too much, he didn't mean to actually be mad at her, he wouldn't even scold her. But sometimes, pissy Calum isn't the cheeky Calum.
"Daddy?" he could've sworn his heart melt at the sound of his daughter's voice, all soft and very slow, calling for him in a word he has always wished to be called since she was born.
"Yes?" he turned around to catch the sight of his precious girl looking down at her own feet. All of sudden, his worries all gone and he's finally, not in distress.
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to make you mad or roll my eyes or talk back or insults you for not having chest hair-" she mumbled and muffled at the same time.
"Emmy," he smiled and open his arms wide, slowly pulling Emily into one of his famous and most comfortable 'Cal-Bear-Hugs'. Slowly, he kissed her temple - which made Em feels slightly better - and said, "Baby, you were mumbling," he chuckled, "It's okay Emmy. I'm not mad at you. I was not in a good mood. Sorry that I pissed you off."
"Nah, it's okay," Emily gets back to smiling. Her smile is definitely a Calum, even though she has Luke's lips.
"See, I told you. Your dad loves everyone." Ashton remarked, raising his eyebrows, slowly letting out a small chuckle. "Where's Luke and Michael?"
"At the attic, I don't know what they're doing though."
"Attic? Why would they go up to the attic?" Emily asked. She didn't even know there was an attic, okay maybe she does, but she thought it was just an empty attic.
"Well, that's kind of where we keep most books and old stuffs," Calum told her, "Like albums, and old teddy bears and-"
"I wanna go up there! Can we go?" Emily asked, her eyes filled with enthusiasm. Calum chuckled and slightly shook his head.
"Of course we can, baby."

-"This is like, very old," Michael shrugged, holding an old acoustic guitar that used to be his favorite during his younger years, "Might wanna tune it back."
"Then go on and tune it back," Ashton laughed.
Michael's hands start to work on tuning the guitar, his left hand plucking the strings while his right is tuning the peg. It took him at least 5 minutes to get it right, but it surprised him that the guitar is still in a great condition after being trapped in a box for years..
"Can I try to play the guitar?"
They all looked at Emily.
"Can you play the guitar?" Luke asked, raising his eyebrows.
Emily let out a giggle, "Of course I can, Dad. It's just I do not own any guitar." She turned to look at Michael, "Come on, hand me the guitar."
He passed the guitar to her, as she slowly sit on top of one of the boxes. Soon, she gets comfortable enough and her fingers start to work on the familiar tune of All Time Low's Somewhere In Neverland, her lips syncing to it, even though she isn't really singing. She does sing, but her voice all soft and tries to focus on the strumming. This had left all four of her fathers jaws' dropped. They were so amused and proud that even if they have only had met her a few days ago, she seems to inherit her fathers' genes and music taste.
With the last line of the song ended, a round of applause was heard. Emily blushes because that is a thing that no one knows about her except for her best friend, Chris, and now her fathers.
"I didn't know you could play the guitar.. I didn't even think you would know All Time Low," Luke said, his lips breaking into a smile.
"Uh, yeah I do know some of their songs but I just don't seem to know them so specifically..." she blushed again.
"Aw, she's blushing! That's so cute," Michael cooed.
"Aw, come here," Luke said, as she puts the guitar down and hug Luke, "You're great at it, honestly, even better than I was when I was your age.."
"Oh and also, as you know it already..." Calum said, "It's a few days till your birthday.."
"Yeah, and?"
"Oh my god, aren't you gonna tell us what you want?"
"Well, I have always wanted a family and now, I got one.. I guess that's all."
"No parties?"
"Why would I need a party? It's not like I have friends here.."
"Are you sure?" Ashton asked, unbelievably.
"God, of course I'm sure, Pa," she chuckled, "You gave me almost everything."
"Well, technically, not everything." Luke shrugged.
"I don't need everything, dad."

After Luke has tucked Emily in bed, he went down to the 'man-cave' that they own. Parenting, to be quite honest, wasn't hard for Luke, or any of them. Emily is quite well-behaved, so it makes it easier for them. But to Luke's dismay, Emily seems to have.. trouble with herself.
And that's what makes her different from all the girls or nieces or his friends' daughters that Luke had seen in front of him. Emily is the kind of girl to set fire in her own eyes but never ever she would ever realize it. He knows that Emily is always living with her constant fears and anxiety. He couldn't blame her for that.
She'd get panic attacks at times. That's why he's so afraid of showing or exposing his own daughter to the public. Sometimes he thought and he knows that she will be okay, like, forever because he is going to be there for her anytime she might need him. But then he is also unsure of that, because he knows that, at the same time, he isn't always around to protect her. He isn't always there with her. Truth is, he was never there for her. He was with her the first time she had her anxiety attack //because of him//.
He gave her away because he wanted the best for her. But it made him feel just as guilty when he knows she ends up at an orphanage-adoption center. It made him feel just as guilty to know that she suffers from panic disorders. He feels guilty knowing that she lives with constant fears.
But it's okay now, really. Because he knows she loves him as much as he does ((((((or probably lesser because he loves Emmy more than anything)))))).
He walks into the man-cave and took a seat next to Ashton. They were laughing and playing FIFA as if they were 19 again. Now, they're not so sick of waiting till they're 18.
"How was Emily? Did she ask about anything? Or say about anything? Anything, really, did she?" Calum starts to interrogate Luke. Pftt, motherly instinct.
"She just to told me to tell you guys that she really loves all of you that she'd puke pizzas for Michael."
"Isn't she the sweetest?"Ashton cooed. "Awwww."
"That's normal for any Clifford's breed. I know, thanks." Michael joked.
"She didn't come out of you," Calum eyed him.
"Oh well, that's because I don't have a vagina. Or more specifically; a womb."
"You're being a mean fucktard. Ash, Michael's being a meanie!"
"Please don't tell me I'm taking care of four kids."
