Emily's POV
"What do you mean 'were'? You're not gay anymore?" I asked. Though I think it might hurt his feelings, but pfftt. I just want to ask. "Sorry. I wasn't suppose to ask. You just know me and I'm a stranger. Just, so sorry." I said later.
"No, no, no. That is fine, really. Actually, we were stepping into fame and we figured out that it would be bad for the band, so, uh, that explains." Calum answered.
"I feel like I'm- like somehow busybody. Sorry, sorry, sorry, sor-" I was cut off by Calum saying "Lord, you do care a lot of how everyone feel eventhough you live by the Will Grayson's rule." he chuckled.
I smiled and continue reading and try to focus on the chapter. But I jut can't. It was never like this before cause I have always lost and wonder and daydream and gone and fangirl and whatever-you-can-think-of-when-reading-books in books. Probably because the way Calum smile is so much like me, or probably I smile like him or whatever.
" Do you boys have a decision?" Mrs. Norris, who just suddenly walked in the room with Luke and Fasha and the four girls.
I was lost in my thoughts. That happens everytime.
"Madam, could you give us a minute to think? We would gladly appreciate that." Calum spoke, quite polite but sounding more sarcastic.
"Forgive me, Mr. Hood. I'm always in a rush. I think, it would be better if I bring the four of you to the Buxton Room. Girls, you can be dismiss now." Mrs. Norris said, heading out of the room with the guys.
Fasha and her friends (a.k.a ducklings)* put on an evil smile on their ugly mugugly faces. They all evil laughed, making this some sort of group-not-quite-of-a-handshake. They all snapped their fingers and you know, doing the 'no-shame' post that they learnt from the movie 'Now You See Me', except that they change the 'no shame' to 'FABULOUS!' which I think it just ruined Meritt McKinney's style and the type of fab they are doing sounds so. Bratty. In which, they are very.
"Guys, I'm so going to be adopted," she said, confidently.
"Yeah, right. By a prostitute or a gang of thugs so they can enjoy you." I wanted to say that but I think it is so much better if I just shut up.
"Well, if you are, keep in touch with us." Gina fake-pouted.
"Of course girlies."she said.
And then they walked out of the room, leaving me alone.
Thank god.
And now I'm gonna read Game of Thrones.
Calum's POV
"We are going for Emily." Mike said, sighing. Well, for first, Luke is going for Fasha and he just won't give it up.
"Dude, she's far better than Fasha. For God's sake, why can't you ever give up?!" I kind of screamed, with my arms gestulating. "You need to stop going for bitches, Luke! You're going to be fucking thirty in, like, a week and we expect you to be more mature!"
"Well, Calum! I'm mature enough to make my own decision, kay?! Now shut it and fuck whoever you want to choose, Thomas! If all of you were going for Emily then go ahead! But please understand that I will never ever ever treat her like my own fucking daughter! I will never act nice or sweet or caring to her and now fuck it! I don't like to have a fucking fight with you guys cause you're like brothers! Okay, fine! Emily? Then go for Emily!" He screamed, his blue eyes snarled in anger.
His ran his blonde quiff with an unsatisfying look on his pale face. That has always been Luke, when we didn't agree with his decision. And this type of thing rarely happen between us cause he usually go for anything. But not this time.
Mike calls Mrs. Norris in. Her blonde, shoulder length hair is not tied, and her green eyes looked at us in a have-you-made-a-decision face.
And with all this feeling of unsure, cause I feel nervous and happy and scared, I smiled. I have found the girl.
"Emily." I said.
Emily's POV
"Oh my god what what what no no why no no no. Maura couldn't be Isaac. Will is in love with him oh my god. Oh my god. It's Maura.." I sighed. I have finished reading the Game of Thrones series. I was on the last chapter and so I decided to read Will Grayson, Will Grayson for the 1206th time. I'm a fast reader. And I'm pretty good.
I chuckled at myself when-
"See! This girl is mental!" Piercings said. Wait wait wait. Luke. Luke said that.
"I think we have agreed with the decision, dude. I bet you all my money and phone and video games and internet that you will get along with her in less than a month." Michael grinned.
"I won't."
Okay, what the actual frick is actually they're doing in my room. Mrs. Norris demand me to return to my room a few minutes ago. And how did they get in? In this orphanage, we don't share rooms. Well, I don't share rooms.
"What are you doing here?" I politely asked.
"Pack your bags. You're coming with us." Ashton replied, smiling.
As if on cue, I can hear Fasha screaming "NO NO NO I AM BETTER THAN HER PLEASE PICK ME."
I just rolled my eyes and do as they say. Even though he called me mental, the othet three are choosing me so yeah. I all if my folded dresses and shirts and tight jeans and whatever piece of clothing I have into the bag. And my three and only acessorries in.
"Is that all you have?" Ash politely asked.
"No, I have a couple of books in the Reading Room. Can I go and take them?"
"Yeah sure. But be fast." Calum said, somehow strictly.
I quickly walked out of the room and go to the reading room. There are like thousands question on my mind, and I can't seem to get rid of it. What if they're mean? What if I misbehave and they all will punish me? What if they don't like me? Frick it.
I sigh and took my set of John Green books and walked out. My mind just couldn't stop thinking and that sucks. Like really.
I walk to the room and as I walk into the room, those four guys, look at me as if I just killed someone.
"What? Did I do something wrong?" I asked.
"Is that all you have? I mean books and everything?" Michael asked. "Yeah, why?" I answered.
"The Game of Thrones series? Isn't it yours?"
"Nah, it's not mine."
"That," Ashton said, pointing to my bag and books, "-is all you have?"
"Uh-uh."
"You need shopping when we get back in L.A." Calum said, slightly chuckled.
"I hate shoppi-" Me and Luke at the same time. The thing is like, if they bring me shopping, they will have to bring Luke along and clearly; we don't see eye to eye.
"You both sound alike." Is what I heard from Michael's mouth.
"Like father like daughter, of course." Ashton said.
"Ashton!" Calum and Michael screamed.
They're hiding something from me.
