𝐀𝐉 𝐃𝐑𝐎𝐕𝐄 𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐀𝐈𝐌𝐋𝐄𝐒𝐒𝐋𝐘 𝐖𝐇𝐈𝐋𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐈𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐒𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐃 𝐔𝐒 𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐖. Her car was really nice she had a dodge challenger in black. She has gunna playing lowly on the speaker to not make the silence too loud.

"You want sum to eat ma", AJ asked while driving around.

She looked over at me for a second trying to read my facial expression. I gave her a shrug as a response and looked out the window. I don't why I was giving her the cold shoulder but I didn't feel like trying to find the answer out either.

"Ima just get us Chipotle then since youn want to answer people", AJ said pulling into the drive through of Chipotle.

After she collected the food we just sat in her car eating. The silence starting to become a bit restless so I decided to get to know her a bit more.

"Why'd you move?"

"Hm?"

"I mean like why'd you move from Puerto Rico all the way to Brooklyn? Was it not good where you were?"

"Nah it was, pero my mom wanted me to get a different experience with school and life here", AJ said with her spanglish.

We then fell into silence again. I don't know why I was being so awkward and nervous around her. Normally I'm talking nonstop going on and on about nonsense but the one time I need to talk i'm quiet as fuck.

"Do you like it in Brooklyn?", she asked.

"It's 'ight. I mean I've been here all my life so I don't know any better. Gets a bit boring at times though", I said placing my food back into its bag since I was finished.

"You like it back home?", I asked.

"Not really, they were all assholes especially after coming out. They called me 'la bruja lesbiana'", she said chuckling at the end.

I smiled at how cute her laugh was. I noticed she had a dimple that would come out every time she laughed and it was the cutest thing ever.
