The Destiny

Chapter One

I had just broke up with my Fiancé Nora after I caught her cheating with one of my best Friends Lisa. The Problem with that is, that I still see her everyday. I had been working in a Hospital for around 12 Years and met my Ex there 10 Years ago, and 7 years ago we got together. We were in a loving and happy Relationship until my best friend whom I knew from my training came to work in the same Hospital. I started to notice that Nora grew some interests in Lisa but I didn't think much of it. two weeks ago I left for a Seminar to Zürich for a week and when I came back I caught them two in our Apartment. This was a week ago and ever since then I haven't stood a Foot into that Apartment, I was sleeping on the Couch of a Colleague and good Friend. I have been avoiding Lisa and Nora, changed the floors when I saw them but I just cant anymore. To my luck I had morning shift with the two of them I walked in the Nursing station and all of my Colleagues including Lisa and Nora were looking at me cause I was 15 minutes late. ,,Morning, sorry I'm late." I said while sitting down. Since I became head of the ward, I have fewer tasks in Nursing and have to do a lot of office work. I decided to do my office day today because I do not feel able to Work with the two of them. "I'm gonna do a complete office Day today, so I won't be with you guys, Nora you are doing the right side of the floor and Lisa ur the left side. we have 14 patients on each side, I'm sure ur able to do that. Alek please help, where the others need help and late ur gonna do the wound care. Oh and a new Nursing Student is coming, please call me if she arrives. That will be al, thank you Guys." Alek left to get started since he doesn't like talking to Lisa and Nora, especially after what they did to me. Besides Alek nobody knows that I had called of the Engagement, I always hated it to drag out my Relationships. I just stood there searching some Documents in the cupboards while facing the other two with my back. Suddenly I felt someone touching me on my Arm. I looked up and saw Nora facing me. "we have to talk Destiny." she said. I took a step back cause I did liked her to touch me. "No we don't." I felt ager building up inside of me. "Come on Destiny, how are we supposed to make this work?" Lisa started to talk and I just could hold it in anymore. "You don't have to make anything work, just let me alone." I screamed- Whispered at them. I saw Nora open her Mouth again and Alek came in again but unfortunately I didn't saw him. "Just do your Work and let me the hell alone." I made a movement with my Hand to show them to get out. When they left the room I let out a Breath I was holding in the whole time. Alek placed his hand on my Shoulders. "are you okay Honey, you seem to be under a lot of pressure." He questioned and a single Tear fell down my Face, but quickly wiped it away. "I can't do this Alek, I feel like my Life is not my life anymore,  I am so stuck in it and the most important person cheated on me with one of my best friends." It bursted out of me like a Waterfall. "You know what Destiny, we gonna get through that Day and after we gonna go in that new club that just opened and get wasted. How does that sound." Alek looked at me with a bride smile, already knowing the answer is gonna be Yes. "Okay, but I'm gonna have to finish writing the working board. Otherwise the others will go nuts." To that Alek let out a really loud laugh that caused me to laugh with him. "Alright Honey, I'm gonna go to work now." With that I grabbed the documents and sat down to the Computer. I wrote some Dokumentations and got trough some Files when the Medicine Delivery arrived after 3 Hours of doing so. I started putting away the Medication when my work phone rang. "Hello, Station H6 Destiny here." I answered. "Hey Destiny here's Anja, could you come Doctor's Room on the 3rd floor. someones here for you." Anja is a pretty talented Doctor, we first met at a Seminar in Berlin and after her Hospital closed down I arranged that she could continue her Training here in this Hospital. "Yeah, I'll come down, give me 5 Minutes.Thank you." I answered her and ended the call. I put away the rest of the Narcotics and left the rest for the others. Just as I was on my Way down there I saw Nora and Lisa standing pretty close to each other, Nora having her Arm around Lisa's waist and they were laughing and even tho I broke up with her I felt jealousy filling my whole body but after 5 seconds just standing there I Feld anger and betrayal. Nora then looked at me and we had eye contact for like two seconds, I couldn't handle all the Feelings I felt at the Moment so I turned around and nearly ran in the stair case. I arrived at Anjas room and knocked, two seconds later the door swung open. At fist I only saw Anja but when I looked into the room and was shocked to see, who was sitting in there. "Nicole, what are you doing here? I thought you are in Tanzania." I asked my ex fiancé's mom, who stood up and hugged me very tightly. "I'm sorry I didn't tell you that I was coming but I had to, somethings off with Nora and I need your help." the moment I heard that name I slowly pushed Nicole off of me. "Im sorry, but I cant help you with that." I told her and looked over to Nicole. I nervously looked to the open door, what she immediately noticed and closed the door. I gave her a nod to signal her a thank you. "Why, what's wrong? has her being like that something to do with you to or the engagement?." I heard the worry in her voice and knew, that I had to tell her, that we broke up. "Uhm- so... I- I called off the engagement." I didn't know, what to say, this was the first time saying that out loud and I felt terrible. I saw Anjas and Nicoles face change into complete confusion. "What? Why? please don't tell me it's the issue with you family again, I thought we worked it out." Nicole was extremely confused by now and I realized that she didn't understood what I was trying to say. "No, no, that's not the problem. Nora and I... we broke up, well to be honest, I broke up." Okay, now it's out. Nicole just stood there with an open mouth, I couldn't see Anja's reaction cause she stood somewhere behind me, out of my sight. It costed me everything not to just start crying right there and then. "No sweatheart, you cant do that. I mean I know you had your problems but you guys are nearly married, you cant just call all that off." She sounded really disappointed "I can and I did Nicole, you have no idea, how much the whole situation hurts me. So please, just let it be." I don't want to tell her, that Nora cheated, I know how much Nicole hates cheating. Her ex-husband used to cheat on her until she was able to get a divorce. It would break her, if she knew that her daughter did the same thing. Nicole and I got in a little kind of fight, I even forgot that Anja is in the room. After like 5 Minutes of Nicole telling me that it's a mistake, to call everything with Nora off I could hold it anymore. "Nora cheated on me. I caught her after I came back from Zurich." With that I could hold my feelings in anymore and started to cry and breath heavily. Suddenly I felt dizzy and after a couple of seconds everything went black.
