“And the winner of this year's High School magical Story writing contest is Miranda Forster with her story ‘the other side of the story’. ” I take the stage with thunderous applause. “Thank you, thank you very much. I really appreciate it and I think everyone deserves this award. But thanks to everybody who voted for me.” I quickly left the stage and my family received me warmly with congratulations.
Later at home we celebrated my success. The only one who wasn’t sitting at the table with us, was my father, who probably knew why he was my inspiration.
