Chapter 10

Jay stuck his hand out for my dad to shake. He toke it after a moment and smiled. "Nice to meet you Jay. I'm Vic by the way." Dad said with a wide smile. "You to sir, I promise that I will treat Ren like a princess" Jay said returning the smile to my dad. "You better or I will personally kick you ass." Dad said with a smirk on his face. I tried to hide a laugh as I saw Jays' eyes widen. "Understood sir." (What a gentlemen.) I thought.to myself. "Well, we better get going dad. I need to take Jasper for a walk." I said. I kissed Jay on the cheek and told him that I'll talk to him later.

[At Home]

"Jasper!" I called. I see is him running down the stairs barking happily. I get down on my knee's and hug my dog while he "kisses" me hello.  " Hi Jasper, yes; yes it's nice to see you to."  

" Wow, he is a big dog! How long ago did you get him?" Jay says petting Jasper's head. "Not to long. I got him for my birthday." I say as I get up and grab Jasper's leash and clasp it onto his caller.  I also put his harness on because he tends to think that he needs to take me for a walk instead of me taking him. "Oh, that's right. I forgot." Jay says opening the door for me to walk about with my dog beside me. 

Walking tends to help get my mind of the things that have happened in my life. Things tend to get to much so i go for a walk, sometimes they work and sometimes they just don't. "What's on your mind?" Jay asks while looking at me as we walk down the sidewalk. "Oh, just things that have been going on lately in my life. The adoption, school, etc.." I saw looking at the ground and almost trip over the dog because he stopped walking. "Don't worry about school. It will get better. You just have to give it some time." He says with a wide smile on his face. "Thanks." I smile back. 

By time we get to his house, it's 4:20 p.m. "Well, I better go inside, I have some homework to do." He says looking at me with an odd glimmer in his eyes. "Yeah, I should head home to.." I just stared into his eyes, and it seemed like forever. We start leaning in, and before i know it, we are full on kissing. And it's amazing. Sparks fly up my arms, and it's like butterflies erupt in my stomach. It seems like it lasted forever, but it really only lasted a minute or so. 

We pull away, and I can feel my face heat up. His cheeks are pink and he isn't looking at me. "I should go inside now..." He mumbles and looks at me for the first time. "Yeah.. I should go to. See you tomorrow." I saw and start walking away with a smile on my face. 

[Back At Home]

"Dad, I'm home!" I yell into the house as I take Jasper's leash and harness off along with my shoes. "In here!" He yells from the living room. I walk in there and see all the guys there. "Whats up with your face?" Tony says while he pets Jasper. At that point everyone else is looking to. "She got kissed! I know that look anywhere." Mike says with a goofy grin on his face. "Ren and Jay sitting in a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g, first comes then comes marriage, next comes a baby carriage!" Jamie sings. I just shack my head and tell dad I am going upstairs to do home work. 

Hey guys! I am so sorry that I haven't uploaded in forever. I have had some extremely bad writers block. I think I am starting to get out of my funk and get back to writing. So here is a short chapter to refresh every ones minds. I love you all very much and I hope you enjoy this chapter. -Cat
