Chap. 8

I woke up to "Not Gunna Die" by skillet blaring through my room. I ground and let the rest of the album play and got in the shower.

When I got out I put on a red leather jacket, a white tank, dark wash skinny jeans, and some black wedges with a bow on the side of each shoe. I walked over to my mirror and straitened my hair and then did my make up.
By now Amy was up and doing her hair. We grabbed our bags and went downstairs and waited for dad to take us to school.

When we got to school, everyone was staring and I started getting really uncomfortable. I speed walked into the building and went to the locker room.
We changed and walked into the gym and I saw the bleach blonde girl gossiping with her friends. One of them pointed to me and she turned around, walked up to me and.... Slapped me right across the face.
I fell to the ground holding my burning cheek and tears in my eyes.
"That's what you get for making us run the whole period yesterday Bitch"
By now the tears where falling. I felt someone pick me up and carry me out of the gym and to the the school doctor.
"Oh dear! What happened?!" She asked while looking at my swollen cheek.
"Lexi slapped her because "she made them run the whole period yesterday" and she didn't do anything it was Coach."
I heard a familiar voice and I looked up to see Jay. I blush lightly and look back at the women who is eye raping Jay. For some odd reason, I have a urge to punch her. I really hope I'm not jealous of this 32 year old women.

"Okay Jay, I want you to go get the Coach and tell him that he needs to come see me but leave Miss Fuentes here so I can look at her cheek. Now go hurry!" The lady said, Jay left running out of the room and minutes later the coach came in and started talking to the lady.
Jay came and sat next to me. The next thing I know is that I'm in his lap and hiding my face in his bare chest.

"The best I can do is give Lexi detention, there is not much I can do Cassandra!"
By now I was looking at the Coach and the lady that I have found to be named Cassandra.
"Taylor, the girl slapped her for no reason! There has to be something more you can do. And it's only Ren's second day! I just have a feeling the kids are going to treat her differently because she is Vic's daughter and the way she looks.."
"Alright, I can talk to the board about Lexi and I will give her a months detention." Miss Cassandra nodded and Coach Taylor left. She walked over to me with an ice pack and handed it to Jay which he put on my cheek. I hissed from how cold it was but I soon relaxed.
"Jay, I want you to come i to the hall so I can speak with you" he nodded and gently put me down on the bed and kissed my forehead and left.
"I want you to stay by her side at all times. I can see the way you look at her. Never let her down understand?" I heard Miss Cassandra say and they walked back into the room. The next thing I know is the principal over the intercom.
"Can I have Lexi Reed, Ren Fuentes, and Jay Taylor come to my office please."
I gave Jay a nervous look and he gave me a small smile and we left to the office hand in hand.
