Fire and Ice Wings (Qibli X Winter)

Chapter 4: Explanations Due!

Qibli POV:

"Who are you?!" I asked, ready for a fight. "Hold on, I got this." Retro replied. Retro pulled out something from under his wing and it spoke! "Booting... Hello Retro! What do you need?" it asked. "Scanner." "Scanning... Person identified. Known as Dom." it said. "What? W-What are you doing here?!" Retro said, terror in his eyes. "Let me ask you something. Have you noticed those little sigils around the school, and the ones that led you here? To this universe?" "Actually, I did notice those before Winter came. But I just thought..." I asked before being rudely interrupted "That they were just decorations? Hmmph. Foolish. Retro, I was the one that placed those. And now, I shall finally take your life!" Dom said as he slashed Retro in the chest and tail-whipped him onto the walls of the school, making him turn into a wolf.

"Retro! NO!" Jay said, tears in his eyes. "I-I know it looks bad, but I think I can fix him." "How could you do that?!" Winter growled. I want an explanation, but I know now's not the time. I thought to myself. Winter then charged at Dom, using frost breath after tail- whipping him into the ground. "Hmph, too easy!" Winter said, before hearing cracks, as well as a sudden burst. "WINTER, LOOK OUT!" Jay said before Qibli used his fire-breath on Dom and tail-whipped him outside the school. "I'll be back, and with a little... friend." Dom said, then mysteriously disappeared. Qibli and Winter then turned to Jay, who had gotten the talking sword out of Retro's hand. "Booting... Hello Jay! What do you need?" "Status check." "Ok. Checking Status... Check complete. Retro's HP: 10/260. Needs a healing item. Boot one up now?" "Yes." Then a weird potion-looking thing launched out of the sky, and landed on Retro. "Ugh.. my head... Oh crap, he managed to change me back." Retro stated after getting up, then getting blue talons to the neck. "Answers. NOW." Winter replied, clearly ready to kill. "Okay, ok. I'm sorry." Retro said, terror filling his tone.

"It's true, me, Jay, Luro, and Ti aren't dragons." Retro said as he dug his sword into the ground, revealing all his teammate's true forms. Jay is a Protogen, Luro is a wolf like me, and Ti is a Tigerbee. But, there was a reason that we must do this. You see, Dom is one of the biggest threats to multiple universes. Our universe, and yours. But, we can stop him together. Remember? Four will come, all bringing mystery, with the help of fire and ice, they'll achieve victory." Retro said, getting to breathe after Winter let go. "Wait, it was four will come, one bringing mystery, not four will come, all bringing mystery." I said, confused. "Ti..... what are they talking about?" Retro asked, with a slight mad tone. "I didn't want to seem like a bad guy, so I only did one!" Ti replied, slightly shy. "Whatever, it's just a small mistranslation. It's night already, so let's get some sleep." Retro said, then went to their sleeping cave and cuddled up with Jay as everybody else but Winter left. "Hey, Qibli" I heard. "Yes, my love?" I replied, knowing it was Winter. I turned around to see him on one knee with the moonlight shining on him, his scales shining. He looks so nice right now, I wanna kiss him! He then pulled out a black box and asked "Qibli, will you marry me?". I was so shocked that all I said was "YES!". Then we went to bed, cuddling up with Winter near Retro and Jay.
